***1st Week of December Thread ADR Plans, Park Hours, and dealing with Pop Warner***

That friendship boat ride was my best/favorite boat trip! Walked right on after Fantasmic! and Star Wars Fireworks (when you could see both in one night... all of 2/3 months ago) to go for late night ice cream at Beaches and Cream! Then I took a bus to MK, hopped on the monorail and was back home. Disney transportation worked great that night!

I guess my lesser boat experiences came with the small one that runs from MK, to GF, and Poly. That one was very tiny and slow. I was thinking about how many times I could have been on the monorail when I was on it! Also, it has a big step down. Was not the easiest for my mom with some knee issues.

Staying at the GF, I think I may try it again one night when I want to relax at the Tambu Lounge. It may seem like a faster trip when I don't have an ADR or FP+ to catch! lol

We are staying at the GF and I would think that a boat ride to the Poly would be a nice ride. We love the boats at WL and hope we can take advantage of the GF boat.

Agree... if you have regular tickets and party tickets it would be great to be able to book 3 FP on both. I also have my second account set up to buy MVMCP tix soon.

You don't need a second account just alter-egos on your MDE account.
The SDFP had a whole section specifically about party tickets.

This is good to know! I guess we got REALLY lucky with our transportation experiences!! Planning on staying at the Beach Club October of 17 (as mentioned in that other thread ) . That walk to two parks seems very convenient!

I have a shopping cart with 3 yellow MBs.... just need to fill up the cart to $75 for free shipping.

If we are smart enough to understand the complexities of SDFP and willing to put in the effort. Why not make our trip more enjoyable!

So anyone that wants to try it.... if you have not yet purchased your MVMCP tickets yet.... don't link them to you MDE when you buy. You'll have all you need to give it a go and won't need to buy extra MBs. Unfortunately, I found the SDFP thread too late and my tickets were already linked.

So .... I'll either be adding another MVMCP night or buying 3 unlinked MBs.

And.... ohh the frustration.... this decision also hinges on the EMM. Just keep swimming!

I've been popping on the boards just skimming for the last week because it is summer, my daughter is not in camp, and I am trying to work/run my business while taking care of her full time so Disney has been on the back burner for a bit (though I do wonder now and then if FEA will stop breaking down. Fingers crossed).

This is interesting because we are kind of thinking now about MVMCP possibly...so if I buy tickets and don't link I get another set of MB's? and I can use those to make FP's? WOAH.

Ive read about sdfp+ before, but really got into it hard core today! Can anyone confirm that this is the basic idea to execute it?! ( one way at least)...

1-set up 2nd mde account with our fun names
2-purchase new mbs from Disney store
3-link the band numbers with these fake/fun names on 2nd MDE
-walk into park
-tap mb to add fp+

Ditto...I haven't been able to get one yet either for HDDR, and I've been looking for weeks!
I heard a rumor they were going from 3 shows down to 2 shows daily, and that's why there are limited ADR's. Not sure how true that is though.

yes, sounds right to me. it's pretty simple. I think where people get screwed up is going through these convoluted ways to not spend money on MBs and they end up screwing up what is linked where. if you're willing to buy magic bands it is that simple!

With the current schedule, it is impossible to do both the SW fireworks and Fantasmic! in one night. The fireworks are scheduled to start 15 minutes before the start of F! but if you're going to F! you want to be lining up for that at least 30 minutes ahead of time (I think).

Wow, I'm so glad someone mentioned it...here I was thinking I could just float along from dinner to F! to the fireworks! More reshuffling of the plans now! LOL
And actually looks like so much food at the dessert party, I'm debating even using a dinner ADR. Maybe a lunch sitdown would be better for the SW day, then a light QS meal for dinner.

You can't do F! and the SW dessert party together. You have to do them on separate nights. the fireworks and F! are within 15 minutes of each other and the dessert party starts 75 minutes before fireworks. it's a bummer disney did it this way

No, you don't get new MB you'll get the plastic cards that can be used at the kiosk to make the SDFP.

Good news is I just booked a Hollywood & Vine F! Package out of the blue!!
Bad news is it's on Sat Dec 3rd.

I'm keeping it for now since we don't know the SW dessert party schedule yet, and I set up a reservation finder to see about getting the F! Package on a different night. All of these decisions make my brain hurt!

If anyone is interested in an additional magic band, the shop parks app is currently running a 15% off promotion! It has a large variety. I've also found magic bands are typically excluded from many promos if you read the fine print. I've only successfully used the AP 10% off and my friend has used 10% off for DVC.
