***1st Week of December Thread ADR Plans, Park Hours, and dealing with Pop Warner***

it hurts waiting. WAH. the only good thing is that it continues to be offered every night even in the lower seasons so hopefully the december weeks sandwiched between two major holidays will have saturday night showings (all I care about. I know I am mercenary). Especially with MSEP gone, I really really want to do this for my son. really. I can make it work on another night but prefer to do it that saturday night.

if anyone who is looking for this sees it come open to book can you please PM me? I don't care if I get like 5pms lol. I wax and wane on my disboards participation and the only emails I get are convos sent to my inbox. I'm in a frenzied period when i am reading and posting a lot but worried that it will be released when I am busy with other things. Thanks!

Heck yeah! I'd be happy to send a PM your way. :) You too @Candycane83 :) And anyone else who wants a PM. Seriously, I check way more than I'll publicly admit to! lol

What's the best guess of what time the dessert party will start right now? I was thinking it would be 5:30 at the earliest but seems like it may be earlier?!!

75 minutes before so if F! is 7 and fireworks are at 6:45 (right now they are earlier not later) then 5:30 would be the earliest. But hoping they extend the hours and make it later. I worry that my 3pm Y&Y might be too late :scared1:

I have a 3:45 ohana on the 10th and thought that would be enough of a buffer but I'm guessing it won't be... Now I have to rearrange my dining again to make sure there's one day I will be able to make it

Hmm now that I think about it, what time would be early enough to do dinner with a dessert party at 5:30?! That seems sooo early...

I'm hoping they will do it at least a half hour later (after F! not before F!). I am not even sure 3pm is enough time though if we show up 15-20 minutes early it should be ok I guess. say 90 minutes to eat so done by 4:30, should be enough to get to HS by 5:30? maybe? we will have the car

I think 3pm should be fine. Takes maybe an hour or an hour and a half to eat, half an hour or so to get to DHS so around 5pm you'd be there already. My timing seems more tight. Not to mention, ohana does not seem to be a good choice for that evening. I have to seriously reconsider my plans...but the problem is everything is up in the air right now! I don't generally want to have dinner at 3pm though... First world problems :P

 What about a n00b? I've been really thinking about trying to snag something for my family if it comes up. I've been lurking for months but I'm still painfully shy about posting...anyway, if you do see something and don't mind sending me a message, I'd really appreciate it! :lovestruc

And I'm now worried that my 4:15pm "dinner" at 50s Prime time might be too late if this is the case as well. Could we do 50s prime time in about an hour (assuming we get seated right away?)

yes. I would show up on the early side for yoru ADR though just to try to buy a little extra time. IF you don't do apps an hour should be enough time and you are in the right park. here's hoping they extend the hours a bit though. last year second fantasmic was a half hour after park close which was at 8pm. so hours could still readjust.

Thank you very much!

Honestly, I've learned so much over the last few months. I already feel way ahead of the game for a first-time planner, thanks in large part to this board!

I will absolutely add you to my PM list as well @Distisso!! I think posting kind of gets easier the more you do it. Really glad you popped in! :)

Hi All, haven't posted in quite a while as we just returned from a long road trip, and I've just caught up on all the posts:)

Would love any input on my plans that I "almost" have finalized - I think...

12/3 we arrive in the evening - BWI
- dinner at Boardwalk Bakery

12/4
8 am breakfast at Crystal Palace
ride a few rides before it gets crowded
take a side trip to Grand Floridian to check out decorations before heading back to BWI for a break
snack for lunch
7:30 Dinner at Tutto Italia (have reservation finder looking for earlier)

can't decide if I will get FP for MK and try to get 4th at Epcot or just get 3 for afternoon / evening at epcot

12/5
8 am breakfast at Garden Grill
QS lunch (may go to HS for middle of the day)
6:30 dinner at Rose and Crown

will do 3 early FP at epcot so I can try for additional

12/6

AK in the morning
QS lunch at Flame tree BBQ
MVMCP QS dinner followed by Holiday Wishes dessert party

will get FP for late afternoon at MK

12/7
9:10 Breakfast at Trattoria al Forno with CP package
morning at HS
QS lunch

5:00 Candlelight Processional
6:30 dinner at Chefs de France

not sure where to get FP for this day

12/8
8 am breakfast at BOG
3:10 dinner at Minnie's Holiday dinner at H & V (I actually have 3 dinner reservations - H &V, Flying fish and Mama Melrose) after reading the review @Lisa F posted I couldn't resist!

12/9 - departure day:(

Just my DH and I - I know we are doing quite a few character meals for two adults, but we are kids at heart! I plan on doing early mornings and late nights with breaks in the middle of the day to try and optimize for lower crowds. We won't do early mornings on the 6th and 7th though due to MVMCP. I feel like I need to seriously start thinking about what to do about FP. Anybody else feel that way?
