***1st Week of December Thread ADR Plans, Park Hours, and dealing with Pop Warner***

Oh man, I totally missed when the CP packages were released cause I've just been so busy lately! Just found out and totally freaked, but I was just able to book exactly what we wanted! Woohoo!

Also, this might already be somewhere in this thread, but anyone have any ideas who the narrator might be, or when they might release that info?

I am going the 5th do it is likely we'll have the same. can't wait to see!

Moving Via Napoli isn't problematic at all, the 5pm show is what it gave me with breakfast. I can't afford to keep calling the reservation line for a 20 call just to get the 645 show. i'll just do a quick serve some wheres either before the show, or after at HS
if you want to change the show i'd be happy to give them a call for you (i'm in the US). I would just need your info, you can pm me. promise not to cancel you or anything, lol. I'd never be able to show my face here. I think I can jsut call with the reservation number and ask them to change the showtime.

I know I really do not post much, but I am always lurking. I was wondering if you all know if calling is the only way to book CRT? After all this time my mom decided she wants to take her 3 grandaughters there. I work a crazy schedule and if I get a chance to call it is usually pretty late (and I always have to do all the planning). I really would love to get them in and make her happy.

You can book it online but I believe you have to prepay?

You can book online through the website only, not the app on the phone as far as I know. It's a hard reservation to get though, and yes I believe it is prepaid. If you can't get in, you can try Akershus as a back up as it is also a princess meal with almost the same princesses, or Cinderella's Happily Ever After Dinner at 1900 Park Fare.

So who's thinking about FP+ strategy yet? LOL. I'm wondering if I should skip meeting Cinderella/Aurora at PFT since we'll meet Aurora at Akershus and Cindy at 1900 PF. Though I know characters are not guaranteed at meals. Rapunzel/Tiana don't meet anywhere else so we'll have to blow a fastpass there for sure. We have 2 1/2 days in MK and I think we can FP+ the major stuff we want to do in that time frame:
PFH
7DMT
PP
Space Mt
PotC
JC
Splash

any other suggestions? Seems like the "smaller" rides can be walk on (like carousel, journey of little mermaid). Oh crap and then meeting Merida and Ariel and Tink are on the list. Merida doesn't FP so I assume we'll RD that one. :(

I've thought a little about it but we do not have big rides to worry about... the only one I'm sure I will be using an FP on is the Mickey at Town Square. Does JC need an FP? I didn't think wait times were that bad for it... Thunder Mountain? I found that Space Mountain at WDW is not very good.. seem to throw you around a lot and I tend to love roller coasters... I think with 2 and a half days, you should be able to do everything you want. Probably do 7DMT/ PP and the mountains for sure... I'm sure you'll be able to find other FPs after you use up the first 3.

By the way, if anyone is interested in Tiffins, I see that they are now serving something called 'Taste of Tiffins' for lunch wherein you pick 2 items from a list they have for $28. :)

Does anyone know if you can really hear CP from outside of the theater? I'm not all about waiting in line for a seat and we are eating at Le Cellier, so no CP package (which I think is crazy, another story for another time). So I'd kind of like to stand behind the theater or in the courtyard of America to watch. I know it won't be the most pleasant view, but would it work?

Yes, and the outside area of the QS at the American is a great place to listen.

Is the Mickey in Town Square the one who talks?

Probably planning to RD Merida one day, maybe PFT the next for Cindy/Aurora and FP Rapunzel/Tiana.
I find this is a good guide to FP+ priorities and touring guides

Yes, I read somewhere that it's a half an hour wait or so during the day. Although the problem with this is that it's not guaranteed Mickey will talk.

Great guide! I saw a thread on the Fastpass+ board on what to prioritize as well. I looked at that but have not looked elsewhere yet. I just read that Joy and Sadness is available during EMH. Not sure if that would make a difference for you.

Thank you! We have those booked, she just wanted to eat at the castle :)

Everyone just want waiting for fastpasses now? :) seem a little quiet now ;)
That's me! Been trying to think of something to talk about here, but then I'd just be running my yap! I have nothing to plan right now. I started looking at 2017 Disney cruises yesterday just to fill the void.

I booked a trip for September 2017 when rates were released in June.

And then I told my husband I thought to make my son's birthday extra special when he turns 4 (he was born 2/29, so 2020 is his 'first' birthday), we should go to Disneyland for everyone's first trip there. So I'm currently planning 3 Disney trips.

Hi. My name is dreaminginplaid and I have a Disney planning obsession!

Pretty much. I figure I can't really tweak my ADRs anymore until I get FP+ and then figure it out. For example, I have 3 Akershus reservations on the same day (8:25am, 10:50am and 1:45pm) because I can't decide if I should keep the PPO and try to get in early (would the CMs even let me in before 8am if I have an 8:25am reservation?) and then go to FEA on standby (the downside is having to rush through the breakfast with the princesses), do I hit RD for FEA with the mob and then go back for brunch at Akershus, or RD and go back for lunch? I'm not concerned about the M&G anymore as it seems that it's pretty much 30 minutes max but the ride lines scare me. We are getting a FP+ for it on the first day but I feel like my DD will want to ride it again the next day and we want to use FP+ for soarin that day. Getting mixed reports with how the PPO Akershus strategy is working for people and combine that with the way that the ride is breaking down and well, you see why I'm anxious with a Frozen loving 6 year old!
