We took our very first trip home to OKW on July 8-14, 2007. We also stayed at POR for our arrival night.

Here's the cast...

DH40-(James)-At first reluctant to go to WDW...but since he's married to me, he has sort of been converted. He loves me and the girls enough to buy DVC. He is excited for the trip (doesn't like to show it too much) and can get on "overload" when I start asking him what he'd rather do "this" or "that". He loves being a dad of 4 girls. He is a totally hands-on dad. He is getting to golf at Disney's Palm while there so he's lovin' it! James is a goof and here's the pic to prove it from our trip to Vero Beach last summer (Since he'd probably kill me if I didn't post a normal pic...I'll do that too!)

James and his supermodel pose!

James with our DD3 (Jadyn) last year:

DD10-(Kali)-Kali has been to Disney twice (this will be third trip for her...but many more are in her future) She can talk DH into almost anything. I let her talk him into things...If he thinks it's for the girls...hey...whatever works. Kali loves Minnie and DTD. She won a hoola-hoop contest there last time and is looking forward to another chance at it this trip.

DD8-(Madison-or-Madi)-Madi is full of energy, but also laid back. She is a pretty agreeable kid. This will be her third trip. She LOVES Tink. (She is her self-proclaimed #1 fan) On her 5th birthday, she made a wish that Tink would come to her house, but swears that a little girl at the party told everyone her wish and that's why she's never seen Tink at home.

DD4-(Jadyn)-Jadyn was extremely FRIGHTENED last trip of ...well, almost EVERYTHING! We made the mistake of taking her in the tree first for It's Tough to be a Bug...and she was petrified! She was convinced that everything was going to be like that. Here's the pic of her after The Tree of Life:
jaybugslife.jpg

We couldn't get her into Muppet 3-D. She practically climbed DH to get out of the queue! I found some of the attractions on www.youtube.com and showed them to her. She is now looking forward to some of the rides/attractions she missed out on last year.Although this is her 3rd trip, her first was when she was 11 months so she only remembers last year. She has also been busy coloring pics for her favorite characters...Here's one of her and Ariel...

DD2-(Lainey)-Well...in her 2 years, this will be trip #2. She says "Diny Wor?" pretty much everywhere we go. She's not quite sure what Diny Wor is yet, but knows Mickey and Cinderella will be there. She's got an ornriness (sp?) about her! She tries to be funny whenever possible. She has about 3 Mickey Mouse's (1 from WDW) that she carries around. She says she wants a Don Du...(Donald Duck) this time.

ME35-(Jen)-I've always loved Disney. I never got to go as a kid, but LONGED to go! I loved Sunday evenings watching The Wonderful World of Disney....DH agreed to a trip back in '96 for 3 days at ASMus. I finally talked him into another at CS in '03. We went again in '06...and of course, now DVC owners at OKW! If I have one "thing" in my life, other than my kids, it's Disney. I just Love everything about it! I don't know if it's the kid in me that always wanted to go, but it is my happy place. I am the trip planner and packer for all trips.(And since I'm a control freak, I wouldn't have it any other way!)

Departure Day: July 7, 2007
Time of Departure: 12:17 A.M.

My DH calls me around 10:30 p.m. (July 6th) telling me how full the restaurant is. He is the General Manager for The Forum Restaurant in town. He said that the busboys were backed up and he was afraid that he wouldn't be home until an hour later than usual! Not that it's a big deal, but we were excited to get on the road. I explain to my kids that dad might be a little late. I, of course, had the van packed, gassed up, and ready to go. Everyone took baths and showers around 8:00. We're just waiting on DH to come home....

To our surprise, DH arrived home around 11:45. The only one asleep on the couch was Lainey (DD2). Madison (DD8) was bouncing off the walls with excitement. DH jumped in the shower and we left our house at 12:17 A.M. for our 14 1/2 hour trip to Orlando.

Jadyn (4) and Lainey (2) slept almost immediately in the car after a long debate about which movie they were going to put in the DVD player. Kali (10) and Madi (8) didn't sleep until around 3:00 a.m. They couldn't relax from being so excited. I finally convinced them to relax since we wouldn't be in Florida until around lunch time...so they finally gave in.
1011746_047.jpg

I also had difficulty sleeping. I am essentially a kid at heart concerning Disney. I probably had a couple hours of sleep, but not a deep sleep....car sleep. Sleeping through the hills and sharp turns of WV is nearly impossible. I absolutlely hate that stretch of interstate on the trip. Anyway, I drifted off somewhere in Virginia.

When everyone woke up, we were in Georgia. We decided not to stop for breakfast like we usually do since Kali and Madi had waited so long to go to sleep. It was a good decision because they didn't wake up 'til after 10:00 A.M. Around 11:30ish, we found a Chick-fil-a. DH loves this restaurant. We only encounter them in the South or Westfield Mall (near Keith) in Canton. So we always try to find one when we travel to Florida since James likes it so much. This Chick-Fil-A was one of the nicest and friendliest we've ever been in. They were having some sort of celebration with the cow there, a bounce house, prizes...etc. They also came around with cake to each table to celebrate whatever anniversary it was for them. We felt the pressure by the friendly employees urging us to stay...but we ended up leaving in a timely manner. We left that Chick-Fil-A and went to fill-up the tank.

We were in Florida within 10 minutes of leaving this stop. I had been driving since early morning (7ish) and now it was noon. I was hit for some reason after lunch by the sandman or something...I was sooo tired. James was pretty awake and offered to drive again...so I took him up on it. I slept through a lot of Florida. When I "came to", we were entering Orlando! The girls were chanting "We Love Disney World!" and screaming with excitement. Here is a short clip of the chanting:http://s206.photobucket.com/albums/bb306/jencarp72/?action=view&current=1011768_069.jpg

And a pic...

1011747_048.jpg

We were probably 10 miles from our exit when traffic came to a hault. It wasn't too long of a delay (maybe 20 min). We discovered that there was a TERRIBLE accident. An SUV practically had it's top ripped off! James and I looked at each other...how AWFUL! It was one of the worst I've seen. James said he thought me needing to switch drivers must have been meant to be...It put us behind the accident.

Everyone started speeding up again...Within 5 minutes, we were following Disney signs! We pulled up to the gate at Port Orleans Riverside to a very serious short-statured man. James showed him his license. He was not the friendliest we've encountered. He didn't even tell us where to go at all. He just drew his arm back like "well go ahead then..." Hmmmm...Luckily, we knew where we were going. I had to pee so bad it actually HURT ...so James dropped me off right in front and I made a mad dash for the bathroom.

When I came out, I realized the line was the LONGEST line I've ever experienced at check-in!!!! I was behind at least 20 guests! Oh well, what can you do? I went to stand in line while James took the girls over to watch tv. James was sitting in the chair drifting off. The girls were all sitting intently watching the Disney cartoons that were on the tv. I finally got to the desk. It was pretty painless using my points to stay. We were given room 1419. I knew exactly where it was because we had stayed in 1410 last year! How weird is that? We where in the same building, just right around the corner from where we were last year. James and I were so tired at this point. We went to the room and decided that we would relax for a bit and then go to the food courts. I had the goal of going to get our vouchers exchanged and picking up our temporary DDE card. I was feeling pretty tired though.

Around 5:00, we went to POR food court for dinner. James got pizza, Madi got her fav...mac n' cheese. Jadyn and Lainey had chicken nuggets. Kali and I got Create your own pasta. That was new since last year. I still don't like the set-up of the food courts at POR. People always seem to be confused as to where to stand here. I like the way Coronado's food court is set-up so much better.Wonder why they don't do it the same way? Anyway... The pasta was very good. I ordered penne pasta with alfredo sauce, mushrooms, shrimp, parmesan cheese, and prosciutto. It was yummy! I still had the camera in the bag so I forgot to take a pic at this meal.

We went back to the room and got our bathing suits on. We decided to take the boat to POFQ to swim instead because the girls had wanted to go down that slide last year, and we never made it to that pool. So, that's where we headed....We were in the building that is closest to the mill so it was a short walk over to the boat dock. We practically walked right onto the first boat.

The first stop is POFQ and then the boat goes to DTD from there. We hopped off right at the pool. We grabbed some towels and picked out a spot near the babypool to put our things. I must say that James and I both agree that POFQ is nicer than POR. It's unfortunate that the only mod that has the trundle bed is Alligator Bayou in POR. What's up with that? The theming at POFQ is so whimsical and just plain fun.The slide was a lot of fun for the kids. They liked this one better than the one at POR from last year. They really enjoyed the characters around. Here are some pics to show that...

Aren't they camera shy?

(Jadyn kept going up the steps to the slide, but wouldn't go down. She is beside Kali in the vest at the top.)

1011769_070.jpg

We stayed at the pool for probably an hour and a half...James and I were DOG TIRED! We rounded up our crew and headed back on the boat to POR. Everyone got cleaned up and we went to bed at 9:00. I was too tired at this point to even think about exchanging our vouchers. I told James we'd just do it tomorrow. I turned the tv off at 9:10 and we were all snoring off into dreamland.......

Tomorrow....we head "HOME" for the first time to Old Key West...................

2nd Day-Sunday, July 8, 2007

I woke up with the alarm at 7:00 and snoozed it until around 7:15. (More of a habit really) I had slept with Lainey and Kali. Lainey's a tosser and a turner. She had kicked me in the head numerous times. I was still pretty rested having gone to bed at 9:00. I jumped in the shower.

When I got out, I woke the rest of the crew up. James hopped in the shower and I helped the girls with their outfits and hair. I had packed a separate bag for our arrival night so we didn't have to lug every bag into our POR room for just one night. Sooooooo glad I did! We only had 2 bags (and the diaper bag). We took a photo of the girls in front of the POR room before departing for OKW...
1011771_072.jpg

We were so excited to get to our "real" room! POR is right next to OKW...so we were only a few minutes from our resort. We were hoping they'd have a room ready for us, but it was 9 a.m. We knew that they may not...

We arrived at Old Key West shortly after 9:00. The guards were very friendly and welcomed us home! (Our 1st official "Welcome Home"!!) My body was tingling...really! I have wanted this for soooo long! I cannot tell you!

James parked out front near the Hospitality House and we all headed in to check-in. A beautiful girl originally from Brazil (who is #2 of 4 sisters) checked us in. She gave the girls balloon flowers. They girls LOVED them. We were already feeling the DVC magic. James took them in the other room to watch some tv while I did all the check-in stuff. AND...to our surprise, she had a room ready for us! I had requested "near the Hospitality House" but the room that was ready was on Old Turtle Pond Road overlooking the pond and directly behind a bus stop. She was sooo accomodating. She did a search for our request and offered us what we had wanted if we would wait. We decided we liked the location of what she had ready so we took it. We got our cards and headed out to find building 32!

James made a short movie tour of our 2 Bedroom at OKW upon arrival. (Room 3224)It is a couple of minutes long, but it takes you through the whole 2BR. Your tourguides through the unit are my children that are in shock of what they get to stay in. (Remember, they have only stayed at the moderate resorts in the past so they are EXCITED!) I believe I am unpacking in this clip & James is being his ordinary goofy self doing the narrating...http://s206.photobucket.com/albums/bb306/jencarp72/?action=view¤t=fbc562b4.flv

So we decided to head out after settling in to exchange our vouchers and pick up our temporary DDE card at Epcot's Guest Relations. While we were waiting for the bus at OKW, Garden Grocer called me. He was at SSR and said they didn't have me registerd there! Well, duh! I had emailed GG to let them know that we switched to OKW and had also called and paid for a case of Coor's Light. He said that it wasn't a problem that he'd just swing over to OKW. He said that I owed him for the beer though! I explained that I already paid it by phone weeks ago. You could tell in his voice that he was leary of leaving the beer, but he did. He said Bell Services would have it all and we could call when we returned from the parks. I had a bit of trouble with the communication end getting anyone to answer me from GG early on. If anyone remembers my posts about them not contacting me back. We were very satisfied with everything we ordered...but something seemed to be up with the communication. Anyway...

We hopped on the bus and headed to Epcot. We thought we'd walk to International Gateway from there because our lunch goal was Beaches and Cream...had to tackle that Kitchen Sink.

I was only 2nd in line at Guest Relations so I didn't have to wait long to exchange the vouchers and get the DDE card. All in all in may have taken 15 minutes. Not bad...James took the kids to that gift shop next door to keep them entertained. I was really surprised that our Annual Passes were PAPER! I mean, if you stay at any resort, your room key is plastic. The thing I have to keep for a year is PAPER? Huh! Oh well...So we head into Epcot and see the crane up near the wand on Spaceship Earth. Apparently they are planning on doing something...We later found out that they are taking it all down! They put it up in 2000 and are changing it for Epcot's Anniversary. We really didn't do anything but walk straight to International Gateway (stopping at Club Cool that Kali loves to get a little drinkie-pooh) and then we were off again. We had never exited IG before. I couldn't believe how short of a walk it really was to the BC (and BW). We asked where B&C was located and put our name in. Now it was right around 12:30 and the wait was around 45 minutes...It was HOT! The pool was right in front of us, which looked so awesome! We definitely have to stay here in the future.Since we were so hot, we decided to go to the arcade next door to B&C to cool off and entertain the kiddos. We were in there probably about 15 minutes and our beeper went off....

Beaches and Cream is really small. I knew people said it was small, but it is really small! Since we are a large family, we got a booth. We ordered burgers and onion rings. The kids all ordered hot dogs and fries or grilled cheese and fries.
Here's my burger & onion rings. (It was really good!)

1011776_075.jpg

And the kids' meals...

1011777_076.jpg

Jadyn and Lainey split the grilled cheese meal...It was plenty for them.

When we were all done...out came the Kitchen Sink.

1011781_080.jpg

James was rather disgusted by the dish. He doesn't like a lot of things. The girls and I put a pretty good size dent in the thing! Here are some pics of them pretending to be sick from eating so much ice cream...

1011783_082.jpg

After Beaches and Cream, we headed on the Friendship Ferry to MGM.........

2nd day still........Evening at MGM

So after Beaches and Cream, we head to MGM on the Ferry. It was right around 2:30 probably when we left. For the last month, I have been trying to talk Kali and Madi into riding Rockin' Rollercoaster and Tower of Terror. Last year, I got Madi on Tower of Terror. She no longer trusts me regarding rides. :confused3 Neither of them were at all interested in riding either one. I still to this day haven't been on RRC. So since those aren't a priority for my family, we found some other things to do. Lainey is a big Jo Jo Circus fan so we thought we'd try to catch Playhouse Disney and get a FP for The Voyage of the Little Mermaid. (love this show) So we headed towards Playhouse Disney when we see Goliath and 2 of the Little Einsteins with no line. We run over to get some autographs and pictures.

image10.jpg

image05.jpg

I ran over to get FP for The Voyage of the Little Mermaid while pics were taken. I look at the times guide and realize that Playhouse Disney is getting ready to start. We walk towards the doors and they were shutting. The guy tells me another show is starting in 45 minutes. (The last for the day.) A lady walks over and says, we don't have a full show, I'll take you in. We enter through a back door (near the Brown Derby entrance) and sit on the right side near the front. (This seems to be where we always sit.) So we watch Bear and his friends...
1011791_090.jpg

Lainey doesn't remember this from last year (obviously), but she LOVED it! She danced around and was so excited. I'm anxious to see what the changes will be next summer since they are moving it and adding Mickey's Clubhouse!!!

After this, we head to
1012090_379.jpg

We all love this show.
When we get out of this show, it had rained so the strollers were absolutely soaked. We decided to head over to look under the hat at the pins and hats. All the kids were itching to get a new set of mouse ears. I had bought a set of 50 pins on Ebay to trade before we left. They always like looking at the new pins. Here's Jadyn in the ears she stole from me...she looked cuter in them anyway.

1011798_097.jpg

After finding some ears everyone liked, except Lainey, (She ended up later with those bug-like pink antenna Mickey ears.)Here they are:
1011958_250.jpg

We headed over to Muppet Vision. Along the way, we ran into an old friend...
1011799_098.jpg

Lainey wanted nothing to do with Mike. He was too big and only has one eye...scary stuff to a 2 year old!

We did Muppet Vision 3-D and we saw the key under the mat. The kids thought that was funny. This was the first 3-D movie Jadyn finally watched. She was sooo scared of everything last year. She had a few relapses this year, but for the most part, did really well. She LOVED Muppet Vision! When we got out of here, we went shopping at the Muppet Store. This is one of my favs because I LOVED the Muppets growing up. My dad does the Swedish Chef's voice so well. I bought him a Chef last year. I also bought myself a Beaker doll that I keep in my classroom, a Beaker keychain (hangs in my van), and a Beaker tshirt. I wore it on another day. This year, I didn't buy anything Muppet! Although, we spent some money here. Lainey found her pink ears and Jadyn found an Ariel doll she had to have.
1011802_101.jpg

Jadyn had a scab on her nose that was healing from a cold she was getting over.

Madi also got a Minnie dressed as Tinkerbell that was so cute. I didn't take a picture of that for some reason. It was adorable.

The older girls had to ride Star Tours with their dad. I don't do this ride because it makes me sick. I forget when, but we had fastpasses for it and the time was up. So they went over to ride Star Tours and Jadyn, Lainey, and I headed into Pizza Planet at James's request to get some pizza. I was really not that hungry after the huge lunch we had at Beaches and Cream, but got 3 pizzas for us to split and some drinks and headed upstairs to wait on the gang. Jadyn wouldn't eat. She wasn't hungry. Lainey and I split a cheese pizza.
1011800_099.jpg

Lainey thoroughly enjoyed that pizza! When James and the girls returned, James ate one pizza himself and Kali and Madi split the other.

The pizza here is just always ok. The kids like Pizza Planet so we usually have to go in at least once a trip.

We headed over to the Backlot Tour at this point. We had never done it before and I was anxious to do it. It is about 45 minutes and we had nearly no wait. I have to say that now that I've done it, I won't feel the need to do it again for a while unless something changes. It was neat...but nothing that exciting.

After this, we headed over towards RRC trying to persuade the kids to get a FP for after Fantasmic! They still wanted nothing to do with it...so we stopped here for a photopass picture. This is us pretending to be scared in front of The Tower of Terror...

image15.jpg

So we decided at this point (8:00) that we'd head into Fantasmic! Ampitheater to get a seat. We didn't do any of the packages for the first time, and I have to say, I didn't really miss it. We went probably 20 minutes earlier than we would have with the package and we all thought our seats were better. We found our seats over to the LEFT of the stage and I went back to get some popcorn and drinks. (Pop for everyone else...Beer for me) I was back in probably 20 minutes and James had made friends with the family in front of us. (This is typical for James....) The little girl that was around 6 was telling us about riding Rockin' Rollercoaster and Tower of Terror. That still didn't convince my girls to do it!

Fantasmic was amazing as usual....After the show, we ran into the Brazilian student group for the first time. They were singing and dancing around. All of them in bright colored shirts...some green, some red...They all followed one person holding a flag the same color at the front of the pack. As we were exiting, 3 of these kids fell back on a stroller with a baby in it. They were walking with their arms around each other and then would all of a sudden walk backwards...with 1000's of people walking forward. The other family they fell on didn't speak English so I have no idea what they said, but they stopped and the Brazilian kids kept on marching with their arms around each other putting them directly in front of us. I was pushing Lainey and James was pushing Jadyn to the right of me. When these kids started to march backwards again and almost ran into Lainey, James yelled.."Ahhhh...2nd time...2 times..." He always cracks me up when he talks to people from another country. He develops some accent.... I always have to tease him about it. He once had to go to Cairo, Egypt for work and was there for 3 months. He had this accent when he talked to anyone from Cairo...so I waited until he wasn't upset anymore and teased him.

We were back at OKW by 9:30. The girls all had to have a jaccuzi bath so we did a short one and hit the hay....

Tomorrow...Epcot at Rope Drop!!!!!!!

3rd day:Monday, July 9
Destination: EPCOT

So today I woke up plenty early (around 6:30) and jumped in the shower. I set the girls alarm for 7:15 the night before so I figured by the time I had the coffee brewing and my hair dried, they'd be getting up....

Well, I had my coffee and had finished drying my hair and the alarm kept on beeping away. No one was moving. I went in and got them all going. Everyone but Lainey (of course) got themselves dressed and headed in for their hair to be done by mom. By this time, James had finished his shower and went into the kitchen to get the girls some breakfast. Lainey and Jadyn waited until after breakfast for their hair to be done(as so obvious by this picture)..

1011804_103.jpg

Having this veranda was so nice. We absolutely loved our view and the fact that there were ducks that swarmed when we threw some bread to them. I counted 41 ducks under us after breakfast! We even saw a mommy duck swimming with 4 baby ducks behind her! Madi said it was like us!
1011805_104.jpg

Anyway, we were on the bus at a good time and made it in plenty of time for rope drop....and the countdown. We headed over with the masses to stand in line at Soarin'!The FP machine was down today so we wanted to get in line as soon as we could. Once we entered the building, the staff was out doing their little drum and dance routine...It made you feel like you were even more in a hurry...like your pace needed to be as fast as their beat...Well, we entered the line and got a Rider Switch pass. I let DH and the girls go first. This is DH's favorite...I guess it's one of mine too. They ended up on the 4th ride. Not bad really considering we had to park the strollers and do a rider switch. When they came out, the girls and I headed to the CM at the front. This young man takes us over to his manager and he tells him to take us to theater #. (I cannot remember the #) The kid tells me that this is a backstage area. We pick up one more guy that another girl was doing the same thing for and head to theater #. When we get there, we're in a small black closet-sized room with a dream family from Indiana and the CM that had picked them. She explains that this is where they take celebrities. Hmmm....pretty plain room....Then the doors open and we are in Section B- Top Row, Baby! This was PERFECT! We only rode Soarin' the one time this trip since the FP was down and this was the BEST!

After we were all done, it had taken about an hour to go "right on". I wasn't too disappointed. What could we do? So, we head out of there and on to Nemo and Turtle Talk.

image16.jpg

So we walk right on to the Finding Nemo Clam ride. I love the birds out front, "Mine! Mine!" DH never saw Nemo so we filled him in. For some reason, we always seem to split up the same way. Kali and Lainey usually ride with me, and Madi and Jadyn ride with James. This pretty well began last night at MGM...and seemed to stick throughout most of the trip. The Clam ride was cute. (I think it would be really cool at DL with the submarine....but the clams were good.) Then we head out to Turtle Talk with Crush. We stopped in first to get the mandatory pic with Bruce...

image22.jpg

My kids really enjoyed the new waiting area (or staging area) for Turtle Talk. They've got computer quizzes and all sorts of fish and sea creatures to look at while you're waiting. Much better than just standing in that line... My kids always discuss what question they're going to ask Crush if they get picked. Last year Madi was picked. This year, Kali got picked...and the question..."Have you ever seen an octupus that squirted ink?" The answer was cute...got some laughs. He said something about staying away from the ink. (I'm horrible at remembering jokes. I never tell them because I suck at it....Although I find myself to be rather funny.) Anyway, by the time we got out of there, it was already closing in on 11:00. (Stupid FP machine at Soarin'!) We decided we'd head over to World Showcase and do the rides in Mexico and Norway and get some lunch. We stopped though before entering WS for a picture where the photopass guy told us the wand's fate. (It was coming down for Epcot's anniversary.)
image26.jpg

And one last stop at Club Cool..
1011875_172.jpg

We were practically in WS alone. First stop was Mexico where the kids made some masks.
1011811_110.jpg

We also bought Passports for the older 3 girls. (Lainey could have cared less. She was oblivious to it.) The passports are really cool, but what we found out was that getting 4 masks and 3 passports done at every station is extremely time consuming. We told the girls next year, we'd rather just shop and not do the masks since they all now have 3. I don't think they'll mind. After getting the masks done, we checked out the sombreros....

1011818_117.jpg

We rode what we refer to as the Mexican version of "It's a Small World". I like the addition of Donald Duck. Right before we headed out of there, I grabbed myself a yummy $9 Margarita and we went to Norway to ride Maelstorm. Since it was dark, Jadyn started to do her "freak out" thing, but we convinced her it would be all right. She ended up liking it in the end. I was feeling rather tingly since it wasn't noon, I hadn't had lunch, and just drank a delicious Margarita. I bought some schoolbread at Norway since everyone raves about it. Lainey liked it a lot. I thought it was good, but I won't feel the need to run to get one again. Here's a pic of the center of the thing.
1011837_136.jpg

Next stop was Germany.
1011835_134.jpg
I usually like brats and saurkrat so I decided to get one.
1011836_135.jpg

Sorry I ate some of it before remembering to take a picture.

Kali got one of those huge pretzels bigger than her head that she loves and we walked on to America so the rest of the picky eaters could get something. We would backtrack after lunch.
I will say that my brat was just ok. I've definitely had better. I couldn't eat all of it. (And I can eat) I think it was the roll. The roll was very hard. I wished I had ran over for my fish and chips... Oh well...lesson learned. After lunch, we headed back to China where my children think it's necessary to buy a fan. DH always indulges them here (well while at WDW). He ended up getting fans for Jadyn and Madi...

1011823_122.jpg

1011824_123.jpg

And new this year for Kali and Lainey were unbrellas with their names on them. (Lainey originally got a fan until she saw the cool umbrella Kali got so James exchanged it immediately for an umbrella. She was happy.)
1011822_121.jpg

You can see her name written on this one. (and Madi fanning herself in the background.)
1011827_126-1.jpg

The next stop was Italy and I had a Rosa Regal with a piece of chocolate. It was sooo yummy! (Wished I had a little more...but still yummy!) Here are the girls posing with Snow White (which I think happened somewhere nearing Italy, but not really in Italy) I can't remember...
1011833_132.jpg

We watched a show in Italy...
1011845_143.jpg

We were all starting to really feel the heat at this point. We had intended on staying until early evening and then going back to the room around 8. Plans changed once we reached France.
In Japan, we were watching the drummers when I spotted the candy lady walking over to her booth. I was like a drill sergeant. "Get up...get up! It's the candy lady!" We were sitting right near her booth so we got front row. My kids were discussing what to ask her to make because she asked that we only have one per family. Here they are discussing their options.
1011849_147.jpg

When she came to my girls, they asked for a blue monkey. This lady is funny. She narrates the whole time to keep the crowd entertained. "I make candy. Sweet like sh-u-gar for you free. You want blue monkey.Blue monkey sitting on pink chair...Let's give the monkey banana. Oh...monkey has a banana." James (being the accent expert he is) would make us laugh doing the candy lady later over and over.
Here's the "monkey holding banana on pink chair"
1011856_154.jpg

Here's Kali with said monkey...
1011857_155.jpg

Lainey fell asleep in Japan.
image42.jpg

We headed over to Morroco where we met The Genie and Princess Jasmine.

James always teases about Jasmine being his favorite so before we left, I said,"Don't you want your picture with Jasmine?" He was a little embarrassed and acted like, "Oh, come on..." when Genie grabbed me and acted like he would just get a picture with me... So James jumped in and got his picture with Jasmine.
image46.jpg

Here we are in Morroco.

1011860_158.jpg

This photopass guy was fun. He had us do the "shhhh" finger since Lainey was sleeping.

image37.jpg

Here's Madi being her typical self...
1011862_160.jpg

Behind her Kali is checking out the $120 belly dancer jewelry!
And this is by far my favorite picture...I wish Lainey wasn't asleep..
1011863_161.jpg

I didn't tell them to do anything. They just saw this backdrop and posed. They kill me!

We ended up going to France and calling it a day.(I mean look at James's face!)

image50.jpg

It was HOT! We needed a break. We decided we'd come back later and get the Canada and GB stamps in the passport and exit the IG to the BW for dinner. We left around 2:45...too late!!!!!

So we were really beat when we left the parks today. We decided to take a long break. After everyone was showered and rested, we headed back to Epcot around 7:00. Staying late really screwed things up for our evening. We stopped as we entered the parks for a couple of pictures. Here's a decent one.

image56.jpg

We pretty much went straight to WS and got the last stamps we needed in the girls' passports. First stop was Canada...
1011880_177.jpg

I HAVE NO IDEA WHY JADYN IS MAKING SUCH A MEAN FACE!

Then we headed onto Great Britain. We ran into Pooh and his friends where Kidcot used to be...
image62.jpg

I couldn't believe that Lainey was afraid of Pooh, Tigger, & Eeyore! She wanted NOTHING to do with them..so here are the 3 older girls with them.
image71.jpg

The mandatory phone booth pictures:
(Kali's was too blurry because she shut the glass door.)

1011890_187.jpg

1011891_188.jpg

We exited at International Gateway probably around 8:20ish. I so wished we had done things differently at this point, but we hadn't so we were later than we wanted to be...not much we could do though.

We walked over to the Boardwalk...
1011895_192.jpg

THIS PIC WAS REALLY BLURRY FOR SOME REASON. OUR CAMERA TAKES GREAT DAY PICTURES,BUT NOT-So-GREAT NIGHT PICTURES.

James walked over to the ESPN Club to give them our name and found out your whole party has to stand in line to be seated. HUH? So, we got in line. The guy in front of us had a brilliant idea to go in and get drinks for everyone with him while they were waiting. DH asked me if I wanted a beer...AH...YEAH! (My DH doesn't drink but he can make almost anything I want him to make! It's the perfect situation really. I never have to worry about who's driving home!) So he goes in and gets me a beer. (my preferance) We waited for probably 1/2 an hour. It was apparently the homerun derby night (I think that's what DH told me) so they were rockin'! When we found out that the people way at the front of the line had waited 45 minutes just to get to the front, we decided we should choose somewhere else. We ended up going to Big River Grille.I forgot to take a picture of our meal, but it wasn't anything to write home about. I had some penne pasta dish, James had a steak, the kids had mac n' cheese. It was $90....for a mediocre meal. We were also surprised at how dirty the floor was and just how small it was. We won't go back....ever. I'd rather get a corndog on the boardwalk...
Nothing exciting was happening on the BW tonight for some reason. Oh well, ya win some, ya lose some.We took one last photo of the girls before we left...
1011893_190.jpg

We ended up walking to MGM and catching a bus from there to OKW right before the Fantasmic! crowd was heading out.It was a longer walk than anticipated, but it wasn't that bad. I like finding out things for future trips too. We went home and crashed. Tomorrow was our golf/swim day that we were all looking forward to so much!

Great trip report!!! LOVE your pictures...especially the ones after eating the Kitchen Sink and the one in front of Tower of Terror. The girls are sooooo cute!!

We absolutely LOVE OKW!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the nice comments! I'll try to write more soon! It's a crazy week!

Today was a relax and enjoy the resort day for the girls and me. James had a tee time at 10:05 at Disney's Palm. I got up around 8:00 to brew some coffee and get some breakfast. The girls and I ate in the room this morning and got ready to enjoy the pool. I have the same philosophy as Cee about a swimming day...no shower. I do, however, jump into a very quick bath to shave and wash off.(I don't wash my hair.) James woke around 8:30 and showered. He joined us for breakfast and then grabbed his clubs and jumped on the first bus to the Hospitality House to get a cab. The girls and I gathered up all the sand toys I had bought for the trip and headed over to the main pool in our van around 9:45. (It was easier just to drive over since we were pretty much smack dab in the middle of the resort.) The pool was not busy at all!I rented some life vests for the younger two girls (free for members) and the girls grabbed some free pool noodles to use. We put our stuff near the baby pool and sand play area. I really love the feel of this entire area of the resort. I like the breezeway through the Hospitality House near Olivia's and the small boardwalk. I, of course, never saw the pool without the sandcastle slide, but it is a really cool addition with a really fun slide. The girls started out playing in the sand while it was still a reasonable temperature.

1011907_203.jpg

This picture appears as if it was getting dark and dreary outside, but it really wasn't. We had a sun-filled day to swim.
1011914_210.jpg

1011909_205.jpg

Here's Kali and Madi in front of the sand castle slide.
1011913_209.jpg

I WISH MADI's HAIR WASN'T IN HER FACE!
I caught Madi a little late after going down the slide.
1011911_207.jpg

It was about at this point in the day that my camera started acting funny. It wouldn't take pictures and was very blurry. I was scared that I'd lose all the pics we had taken so I put the camera away and swam with everyone. I even went down that slide a couple times! It was a fun slide. We stayed at the pool until 12:30 and headed back to our room for lunch. I had a ridiculous amount of food I had ordered from Garden Grocer so I was planning on making lunch today.

When we got back to the room, everyone threw on some dry clothes to eat before we got cleaned up. I played short order cook. I made macaroni & cheese, hot dogs, 2 grilled ham & cheese sandwiches (1 for me and 1 for Lainey) and a bread and butter sandwich at the request of Kali. I had also ordered chips and cookies from the bakery so they had a good lunch. I was soooo going to take a picture of our food and post them just to be funny, but I forgot! (My camera started working once we got back to the room.) We all got our showers/baths. I asked the girls if they'd like to go to Animal Kingdom just for the parade because we had plans to go to DTD tonight. They all wanted to go. We were getting ready to leave at 2:45 when James came "home". He really wanted to get a shower and relax...after all, he was just golfing on the surface of the sun. (July in Florida..HOT) I realize that many people think that I am crazy for taking all 4 girls to a park by myself...but I had planned on this anyway. At home, I take them everywhere. They really are well behaved and mind me. I didn't think a thing about it. We were the only ones on the bus all the way to AK. The bus driver commented that he hoped I was meeting "help" at the park. I just smiled and said I would be ok...I was used to it. When we got to the parks, the security bag checker said, "Are you alone with these girls?"

Now...we headed in and decided to grab some maps. Jadyn and Lainey have to have a map everytime we enter a park. I wanted one to make sure I picked a spot that was definitely on the parade route. Kali walked over to the maps when a group of Brazilian girls all dressed in green literally swarm the maps. Kali was trapped. I saw her trying to go around them, but then one of them would step in front of her. I was heading over to elbow a few for her and get her out, when a man stepped on my leg...Yes, my leg. I don't know if he was frickin' marching or what, but his foot started to step on my foot at the shin (sp?) level. His foot scrapped my right leg, stepping on my ankle, and then squishing my foot. I was in my Nike flip-flops. He said,"Sorry" like it was my fault. Just then, Kali practically crawled through the Brazilians, but she had escaped. We head out (I hobbled out) to stake our parade seats.

Our goal was a shaded place to sit. We finally found a good place near Pizzafari. You could feel the air-conditioning coming from the doorway just a bit and it was completely in the shade. There was a curb to sit on. PERFECT! We sat down and waited. It was 3:30.Once people saw what we were doing, everyone followed suit. They taped off the parade route while we sat there. We were good. The girls however, were complaining about the heat. I had brought a few water bottles that they fought over...they complained over and over and over and....well you get the picture. Kali always says this is the hottest park. Here is a picture of them that I took to show just how miserable they were acting...
1011916_211.jpg

As you can tell especially by Madi's face, they were not happy. I started the lecture about they should be happy that they are able to come to WDW...a lot of kids would love the opportunity to be so miserable....blah...blah....blah.... Then they played the recording before the parade starts...I told the girls to at least pretend they were excited since I brought them here by myself, so I took this picture...
1011921_216.jpg

Lainey was pleasant the whole time.
1011918_213.jpg

The parade finally started. No one really remember this parade since we didn't do it last year. We hadn't gone since back in '03.
Here are a couple of pics from the parade...

After the parade, we headed back to get cleaned up again. It was hot! I had to wash off a little and change my clothes! We got back a little after 5:00. James was ready to go. I quickly washed off and changed my clothes and we went to catch the ferry at the Hospitality House to Downtown Disney.

When we got to the ferry, we saw it pulling away. This was just the beginning of a screwed up night. It was around 6:00. We had a reservation at the Rainforest Cafe at 7:00. We decided to walk over to the main bus stop just through the breezeway and see if a bus came for DTD. We waited and waited. No bus...and a lot of buses came. I checked the list...yes, they do offer buses to DTD. James walked through the breezeway and told us to come on because another ferry had arrived. We hurried up and jumped on board. It was 6:30! We made it to Downtown Disney right around 6:50. We parked the strollers under the big mushroom and I checked in at the stand. We decided to look around the gift shop until they called "our safari". Kali really likes frogs. She found a gazillion things she liked...but the other thing about Kali is that she's tight with her money. She had $65 from her birthday...but wouldn't spend it. We ended up finding a bunch of posable animals that you could buy 8 for $9.95. The girls all liked them so we got them. We figured they could play with them at the table too. My girls like to take pictures of their toys complete with backdrops...Here's one they took later.
1012255_531.jpg

We were seated in the elephant room. We always like the RFC. We usually end up enjoying our meals and having fun in the jungle-themed atmosphere.
1011943_238.jpg

1011946_240.jpg

I ordered a large Corona and the
Awesome Appetizer Adventure - (Great sampler for two or more, featuring Chimi-Cha-Cha, Big Blue Crab Delight, Caribe Chicken Tenders and Coastal Calamari ) for $16.49.
1011950_242.jpg

It was really good!
James ordered the Rainforest Burger - (1/2 lb. burger, charbroiled and served on a toasted bun with tomato, lettuce, onion ) for $10.99.He'd already eaten part of his sandwich when I realized I hadn't taken a picture, but it was a big burger!

Kali and Madi got the Python Pasta - (plateful of pasta served with your choice of Alfredo, butter or marinara sauce) each for $6.99.(Which was HUGE!)
1011951_243.jpg

Jadyn ordered Jurassic Chicken Tidbits - (dinosaur-shaped chicken, breaded chicken) for $6.99.
Lainey had a plate in which she had some of everyone's food. I had a lot to share...and so did the girls. Here's Lainey enjoying everything...
1011954_246.jpg

The lighting and my camera didn't mix so well!
We ordered the Sparkling Volcano - (Enough for 2 or more people! Giant rich chocolate brownie cake stacked up high, served warm with vanilla ice cream, fresh whipped cream, and topped with caramel and chocolate sauces. )- $12.99

1011956_248.jpg

As we headed out of the RFC, we realized that it had rained...and hard! Thank GOD James had moved our strollers right under the mushroom. They were dry. We headed into Goofy's Candy Company...This is where our night took a turn for the worse! The girls got those giant tubes of pure sugar that James helped them to get while I ordered some chocolate covered pretzels. I ordered one with dark chocolate covered with caramel, one with milk chocolate rolled in Reese Cup, and another milk chocolate rolled in M&M's.

1012035_327.jpg

Now...I had no idea that it would take so long for these pretzels to set-up. While I was waiting, apparently James was dealing with Jadyn having to pee. He came inside the shop to tell me the situation. 5 minutes later...he came in to tell me to meet him at World of Disney. Well...at least he told me, but I didn't hear him. I have a thing where sometimes when I'm stressed...I must zone out. I seriously have no recollection of this conversation taking place. I'm sure it did...absolutely sure. I do this a lot. I don't know what it is?

So when I was done in the Candy Shop (I had Lainey with me) I went outside to wait on James. I figured he had taken Jadyn to the bathroom and would be back. It started to rain...and it was raining hard. I was using the sides of the building to stay dry while I walked around looking for him and the girls. I even walked over towards World of Disney...didn't see him. Our cell phones were both charging. (The only frickin' night we really need them!)I was afraid I'd miss him so I kept walking back to stand near the candy shop.Well, nearly an hour later, on my 2nd walk to World of Disney...I see him inside the shop looking out. He had told me to meet him there. He was upset...I was upset...it was 10:00! We shopped for a while and got Lainey her Donald Duck, Kali a Diva-like Minnie, and some other stuff...probably spent over $100 here. As we exited, it was still pouring. Kali so wanted to do the Hoola-Hoop contest again. There was nothing going on because of the weather. The boats weren't going back to the resorts either. Oh...and I had taken the ponchos out of my bag for some reason! So...we headed back to the bus stops...which in the dark and rain are confusing. Every stop had a roof over them except for OKW!We missed it because of that and went way too far. We ended up soaked and miserable...off that our night was so messed up! We found our bus stop and crowded under the POR stop next to ours. Our bus finally came and after another stop at PI, we were finally on our way home. It was nearly 11. Jadyn and Lainey were both asleep on me...I was wet & miserable. This was not the night I had planned for DTD! What could we do? We went home and put the kids to bed.

Tomorrow it will be better. We're headed to the Magic Kingdom!

I got up early today to get the girls a bath since everyone was so tired after our Downtown Disney fiasco...I showered at 6:00 to get ready ahead of everyone because that's just so much easier. I woke the girls up just a little before 7:00. I had Kali take a shower in our room, Madi showered in their room, and I gave Jay and Lainey a bath in the giant jacuzzi (not filled all the way or I'd never get them out of there). Did I mention how much I love this villa? Everyone reports to me for hair fixing while James was showering and throwing in some waffles for the girls. We headed out to the buses around 8:10. (Not bad for a family of 6)Here's Jadyn and Lainey waiting for the bus...
1011957_249.jpg

We made it to MK around 8:30. We went towards the left and staked out a place to watch the opening ceremony.
1011960_252.jpg

Opening ceremony...
1011964_256.jpg

We booked late for our vacation so I had intended on trying to get an early breakfast at CP or CRT...no luck. Lainey loves "Cindawewwa"(Her pronunciation of Cinderella)...but we couldn't get in because I booked in late May. (In fact, we didn't get to see her this trip at all!!!!!) The line at Toontown was always too long (75 minutes). We ate in the castle both of our last trips. Lainey really just started liking her. She has to meet her in June. She just has to!
I snapped a quick walking photo of the castle when Lainey realized the castle was up there. She nearly jumped out of her stroller..."Cindawewwa's cas-ul"....I LOVE MY DVC!!!!!
1011974_266.jpg

The castle was roped off...so we went around to head towards Fantasyland. Here we are on Dumbo. James took these...

1011978_270.jpg

1011982_274.jpg

We saw the character handler at Ariel's Grotto when we got off Dumbo and there were just a few people in line so we had to go meet Jadyn's favorite princess. (It's the red hair I think.)
image76.jpg

James always likes to take a picture of the castle through the rocks at Ariel's Grotto. I think it's a really neat view...
1011990_282.jpg

We headed over to ride Peter Pan ,The Tea Cups,Snow White, Pooh, and do Philharmagic. Here are some pics...
1011995_287.jpg

Lainey and I rode the tea cups separately from the older girls because I didn't want to puke the rest of the day...http://s206.photobucket.com/albums/bb306/jencarp72/?action=view¤t=7bbc0bb1.flv

1011998_290.jpg

1011992_284.jpg

It was about 9:50 and we had done a lot so we headed to Toontown...BUT when we got there, the rope was already down! I thought it dropped at 10:00? Oh, well! So we headed straight to Goofy's Barnstormer. We all went through the line when Jadyn realized that the fast rollercoaster above her was what we were planning on riding... She freaked out! So...James volunteered to exit with her. They just walked through the car and we told them we'd meet them at the exit. When we saw them at the exit, they were wearing Dream Lanyards with 2 Year of a Million Dreams pins! Her freaking out put them at the right place at the right time! They got a DREAM!
1012000_292.jpg

Later, my DEAR husband gave me his dream along with an Old Key West pin!

The girls played at Donald's boat for a bit...
1012001_293.jpg

...then we headed over to Mickey and Minnie's house. (Why isn't Mickey's house more like Minnie's?)
Mickey's garden..(Lainey & Madi are soaked from Donald's play area)
Madi is no longer wearing her ears because she left them on Barnstormer. James and the girls rode immediately after us and asked if anyone had turned them in. Someone claimed them just a few minutes ago!!! Someone got her ears...for free! We bought the same ears for her later.
1012007_299.jpg

1012008_300.jpg

Minnie's...
1012010_302.jpg

Lainey spotted Mickey in the frame..
1012011_303.jpg

Minnie's house is so much more fun that Mickey's...I just don't get it!
1012014_306.jpg

Tea & "diet" cookies anyone?

So we decided to eat at Pinnochio's Village Haus..James took the kids to a table upstairs while Kali and I got the food. I ordered the Italian sub and it wasn't something I'd get again.
1012021_313.jpg

The younger girls split chicken fingers and fries. This was 2 of 3 pieces and 1/2 the fries.
1012022_314.jpg

James got his usual...pizza (and so did the girls), but I forgot to snap a photo of it.

After lunch we headed over to Splash Mountain. We used a rider switch because there was no way Jay was riding and Lainey wasn't tall enough. So I told James to go ahead with the girls first...I'd head over to the Jungle Cruise and get us FP's. It was just starting to sprinkle. Lainey fell asleep in the stroller. I put a poncho on Jadyn and myself and we headed over to secure fastpasses for JC. It rained just a little while and we threw our ponchos away. (I always buy the camping ones you find at Walmart for under a dollar.) I called James to see if they made it off yet. They were getting ready to go down the hill at Splash. I headed over there and tried to get a picture...
1012025_317.jpg

They are at the bottom...behind the briars..You can see a little splash.
Jadyn and I told James we'd meet them at The Briar Patch shop.

So it was my turn to ride Splash with the girls who LOVED it by the way! They had never done it before because they were too afraid. They couldn't wait to tell me everything that was coming...I hadn't been on Splash since 1996! We were seated in the very back of the boat. As we head out to watch the other boat go down the mountain, the splash from the other boat literally had my head as a target! I was SOAKED! I mean underwear-stuck-to your bottom soaked! Not a part of me was dry! The girls thought this was HILARIOUS!

I called James when we got off to tell him how soaked I was...He didn't believe me until he saw me! He took this picture of me at the Bus Stop...
1012032_324.jpg

Lainey woke up in a good mood when we got back to the Bus Stop...

1012031_323.jpg

We headed back to shower. We planned to order pizza and come back to MK around 5:00.
We had had a great day...and accomplished a lot!

Up next...Matchy, Matchy green night!

We ordered pizza from Giordano's when we returned to the room. I had this pizza on a dance trip to Chicago when I was 16. Coincidentally, the workshop I attended was Gus Giordano's Jazz Dance in Chicago. (And his dancers weren't eating this pizza! They were SKINNY!) Anyway...I remember this pizza as being really good. James likes pizza. Correction, James LOVES pizza. James eats pizza 5 days a week. (I you not.) He works nights a lot and since he misses dinner, he orders pizza. This pizza is Chicago-style deep dish. The cheese and toppings are baked inside. It's one of those kinds of pizza that 1 piece is enough. (So I had 2!)
1012034_326.jpg

I thought this pizza was really good. The sauce was really sweet. James couldn't get past the mound of cheese in the middle. It WAS a lot. He had 2 pieces. I did too, but I didn't finish the whole last piece. It might have been the beer I had with it too...but I was sooooo FULL!

We headed back to Magic Kingdom later than we had wanted. We had to wait forever for a bus tonight too. We got there around 5:50. The last pirate tutorial started at 6:00. We missed it! So since we were matchy-matchy, we played the photopass game!
Here we all are...
image82.jpg

I won't post all the pics of us in green because we got a lot!!!!

We decided to go get FP's for Buzz and do The Laugh Floor. We got the FP's which were for 6:35. It was 6:00 now...COOL! The Laugh Floor had a line that said 20 minutes. We wanted to see it so we headed to the line. As soon as we got to the doorway, the CM said, "Everyone in a green shirt, this way..." WE GOT TO GO STRAIGHT TO THE FRONT OF THE LINE!!! All because of our matchy-matchy green shirts. James said he'd wear whatever I tell him to in the future! ;) We got into the staging area right away and got to go into the next show!!!
This show was HILARIOUS! I actually cried laughing so hard! They pick audience members to "pick on" . They picked an older lady to make the antennas and make sounds. It was tooooo funny! I'm not kidding that I laughed until I cried! This show was great!

When we got out of there, we headed to Buzz. It was 6:31. We decided to see if there was a happy CM there. We were in luck! She let us right in! We rode Buzz and as usual, I kicked everyone's butt! I am the champion at this! Really...every time!

We decided to head over to Adventureland. We stopped at The entrance of the Rose Garden for some of my favorite pics...

If you are wondering why all their shirts are tied up, well...I had ordered these tshirts from www.disneyshopping.com. When they came, they were huge! I mean, I could wear the older girls'! I had our seamstress at the dance studio take them up for us, but they didn't sit right at the bottom so I tied them like this.

We rode The Jungle Cruise...

From there, we headed over to ride the Magic Carpets.

Lainey had to join in!

We decided at this point to see if possibly the line at Toontown was short to see the princesses. It was 8:15. We headed over...75 minutes. I guess we'll see her next time. The CM told us to head over to see Mickey because the line was really short. She was right. Lainey also loves Mickey!!!

Here are a couple pics waiting to see Mickey...

Mickey seemed to take a liking to Lainey. She was in heaven! It makes me tear up thinking back to it! She just loved seeing Mickey! All the girls did, but Lainey especially. Mickey grabbed her to get a picture with her alone!

I know I've made reference to Lainey's pronunciations in my previous posts, but Lainey has real difficulty saying Mickey. She says "Di-ee". I know it...I understand it...and believe it or not, most people that hear her say it, know what she's saying. As we left the room, Lainey yells, "BYE DI-EE!" The CM even said, "Aahhh!" Mickey waved to Lainey and we went on our way.

We still had some time so we thought we'd ride the Carrousel since there's never a line for it.
It started up 4 times before it finally worked. I don't know what was up with it tonight.

James took a picture of my light-up ears. They really lit-up! They don't look that lit up in this picture, but they really did! The girls liked these.

We headed over to the front of the castle to stake out a spot to watch Wishes. Spectro had just finished and we were trapped in a sea of people. A man repeatedly bashed me in the heels over and over with his double stroller until I turned around and looked at him!:sad2: When the crowds had parted, a lady on one of those scooters hit me! I mean...hit me! She made no apologies and started to do it again. She had a small child on her lap. I told her I was sorry. I don't know why...but I did! :confused3 It wasn't my fault by any means. She just glared at me! James said out loud, "Jen...you don't have to tell her sorry! That was ridiculous! Absolutely ridiculous!" She could have cared less! How rude some people are!
We decided to move up a bit because I wasn't watching Wishes by the old lady on the scooter that tried to run me over...
We had a perfect view of Wishes! We met a nice family from Brooklyn that James made friends with...even narrated for some of Wishes to them.

Wishes is just so amazing. James and I both think it's just awesome how the fireworks and lighting on the castle are perfectly timed with the music. We can't miss Wishes!

We decided since we saw Spectro last year, we'd call it a night. Tomorrow we were headed back to MGM for our Sci-Fi lunch and a relaxing night at Old Key West!

What a fantastic report. I stayed in OKW in 2000 and it is a nice resort. I think DVC is in my future also. Nice pics and great report. thanks for sharing.

This is just a perfect report for me! We are headed to OKW for our first trip home in SIX days!:dance3: We bought at SSR, but I booked OKW back in March. It's funny, I really meant to say SSR, but it came out OKW, so I guess that is a sign or something.

Your family is absolutely beautiful, and their pictures are just fun to see. You can see the magic.:flower3:

Thanks for "introducing" me to our home. Looking forward to more.
