Hi

Its our 1st trip to WDW and we are only here for 12 days.

I dont think we gonna fit all in and was wondering is it a big deal to miss BBB this time my daughters are 4 and 9 but we dont no when we will visit again.

I'm worried about planning to much and them being to tired.

Whats your thoughts!

I think you need to take a step back and realize no matter how long you stay- you are never going to fit everything all in. I've been going a few times a year since 1978 give or take some years and trips (some more some less) and I still have not taken it all in! If you think BBB is something your girls are really going to love- than make the time for it. I think they sound like the perfect age to enjoy it (at least your 4 yr old is... 9 she might think she is too cool). Make a list of the things you really feel are your top things to see and try and fit those in... everything else is icing on the cake. 12 days is a lot of time so you can burn out if you try and rush through everything... have a blast/

Don't try to overplan or you will be exhausted and your Disney trip will not be all that you had hoped. Like the pp, I have been more times than I care to count and have yet to do or see everything so don't plan as though you will. If your unsure of how old the girls will be when you return then I say do the BBB, that is something that is magical at younger ages. Things like the put-putt courses can be done at the beach or on a future trip as can the boats, horse back riding and so on but the BBB just isn't as sweet/precious when they believe they are being turned into a princesses. Include them in the planning see what is really important to them. And relax and enjoy!

Hi! I took my girls, 4 and 6, to the BBB on our first trip in 2007. I have to tell you that the pictures we took of them as they saw themselves for the first time as cindrella and snow white are priceless, and the best of the trip. They were so excited to be all dressed up, I can easily tell you that I would definitely make time for this experience for them. Relax, and enjoy their joy. Have a great time.

Hi

Its our 1st trip to WDW and we are only here for 12 days.

Only is an interesting word! We've been there for "only" 14 days, "only" 3 days, "only" 8, "only" 10 and many other number of days shorter and longer. Every single time we've felt like we weren't able to do something - simply because there is so much to do. That's one of the joys of returning again. I would recommend figuring out what most appeals to you, and start there with your planning.

On our last 2 trips we felt that BBB sounded fun, but our DD was too little to fully enjoy it. This next time around, however, (Oct) - we're taking here there - since her love of princesses has grown exponentially since our last visit. Daily she "becomes" Cinderella and dances with the prince (me), and suddenly when it turns midnight she has to rush away (upstairs to her room). A few moments later she returns with glass slipper in hand and I'm then the Grand Duke trying to find who danced with the prince last night... she's definitely up for BBB now so we'll go and let her enjoy the experience.

As a PP said - if you try to "over plan" your days, you'll burn out fast. WDW certainly takes more planning in 2008 than it did when I first visited in 1989, but don't worry about missing something...even if you can't go back for a number of years, that's ok. I like to see it as a wonderful buffet - many, many delightful options to select from, but if I chose every single one - I'd gorge myself and walk away from the table stuffed and unhappy due to a sick feeling in my tummy... or... do too much during your vacation and you'll arrive back home unhappy and not looking forward to going back!

That's just my two cents worth. Good luck in your planning!

I took my 9 year old dd last year and she LOVED it!! I think it is something you won't want her to miss, because next trip she probably will be too old to really enjoy it!

Trust me no matter how hard you try you will not see it all on this one trip! Take a look at my siggy at all the trips we have made. We haven't even come close to seeing it all!! If you try to cram it all into one trip you will be miserable and have cranky family members.

If you don't know when you will go back and your kids are 9 and 4 now, I would say do BBB. It's probably the only time in their lives you'll get to do it!

Please rethink your plans and have everyone in the family make a list of their "must sees" and take it from there. There is a great guide book for kids called Birnbaums WDW for kids, by kids. It has ride pictures and descriptions. Remember to take it easy while touring and rent a double stroller at the parks for your kids if they get tired. There is a ton of walking at WDW!!
