1st trip as Mr. and Mrs. (lots of pics!) Updated 9/29: TR Link Posted!!

I'm alive, and back! Yayyy!! The only place on your TS that we've eaten at is CP; it is one of my must-do TS every time we go. It is such a wonderful WDW experience! They have an amazing breakfast, too. I think we're going to try dinner for the first time there this time!

I have to cast 10 votes for Flame Tree BBQ. We're Texas who LOVE our BBQ and are typically really, really picky and this place is one of our favorites for BBQ of all time. Their pulled beef sandwich is AMAZING!!! This is a must-do on DH's list this time, too!!

I'm glad you're back!!! And I hope your DH is feeling great! I ate at CP about 7 years ago with my mom and little sis and we really liked it. Michael is excited to get to be in MK before they're officially opened!

On day three, we were going to Epcot! Even though each of the parks has a special place in my heart, and I love them all for different reasons, if it came down to the wire, Epcot would have to be my favorite. Especially World Showcase. I just love feeling like I’m really visiting all of those different countries at once!

Today, however, we went to Future World first. I think I’ve started to like FW a little more every time I go back.

I just love the “Big Silver Ball”! I especially liked the Beauty and the Beast topiaries. My best friend was playing Belle in our university’s musical in February, and it was one of my all-time favorites, so I really, really liked these!

The first thing we did was go to Soarin’. I LOVED IT!!! What an incredible ride! We talked about it the whole rest of the trip.

We also went to the character meet place—I don’t know what it’s called. All of the “stars” were there! They were great. We were literally the only family there, and they took time to dance, pose, and play around with all of us. Their blue dressy clothes were so beautiful!

Chip and Dale are such flirts! They were hilarious.

Hmmm…I guess I didn’t take anymore pictures that day. How sad. I know that we ate at the Garden Grill for lunch, and had a lot of fun! We were definitely hooked on the DDP!

Since it was so long ago, I don’t really remember what else we did that day. I think we pretty much hung out in FW. We might have gone back to MK. Sorry—I promise this won’t happen on my real TR!!!! I’ll be taking lots of pictures, and I’ll share everything significant with yall!

Well...it was kinda confusing since I posted yalls top results on the same page... I KNOW! I thought I already had all of our ADRs picked out back in December, and then I kept hearing such great stuff about other places. And some of the places we did choose were not talked highly about...so we switched! But I'm sure we'll change even more between now and then!

Aren't they gorgeous?! I loved it. No, we were there in October. I don't know why they had the topiaries...but I was happy they did. I've seen lots of pictures from the F&G festival and it looks so gorgeous!

Oh--your DM is going to love it! I can't wait to hear what she thinks! My whole family still talks about it. And MNSSHP is a ton of fun. It's just a whole different side of Disney.

On day 4, we put on our best safari-esque frames of mind and boarded the bus to the Animal Kingdom!

The first time I’d been to Disney World when I was old enough to remember it, Animal Kingdom was fairly new. Still, we loved it. I’d heard that AK was much more developed by this time (including Everest!!) and I was very excited to go back!

I really don’t know what the deal was, but we must have been doused with fairy dust—there was no one in line at Camp Minnie Mickey either!! You can bet we weren’t complaining about not having anyone else in the character lines with us!

Animal Kingdom is just an amazingly beautiful park! I could admire the Tree of Life for hours!

This is one of my favorite pictures of our trip. I just wish the person hadn’t cut out my Aunt L…

These guys were SO fascinating! I’ve always wanted a monkey…

A couple of my favorite safari pictures:

We were Elephants at the Festival of the Lion King. Goodness—I love this show!

So sorry I don’t have more pictures. But I can tell you that our half-day at Animal Kingdom was a blast! Oh—and we rode Expedition Everest!!! It was love at first ride.

Great update!! The best time we found to visit Camp Minnie Mickey is during one of the Lion King shows. Every trip we've had we always have to see FOTLK! It's so amazing! Have you ever seen the one on Broadway? WOW! And I thought the one at WDW was awesome!

I promise to post about our 2006 MNSSHP tomorrow!

Michael and I are going to a Spurs vs. Thunder game tonight! It'll be my first NBA game--I know--How sad! Michael is a HUGE Spurs fan (we even played Spurs Monopoly the other night!) and he said that if the Thunder beat them, he might have to do some major damage. It would be horrible if the Thunder won...but anything can happen!

We're leaving early so we can get some shopping done before the game. We have wedding gift cards that are just burning holes in our pockets!

Anyway, I'll hopefully post some Spurs victory pictures, as well as the MNSSHP day!
