We cruise on 4/15 on the Wonder.... we are 1st timers with 5 kids.... Could we get some advice please? We have late dining, so I have heard that this also means we will have a later assigned breakfast dining time.... (true?) We have a 11:21 am flight home from (MCO) back to Chicago. We live in Michigan. We have reserved a Limo with FL Tours to take us to our hotel at the Raddison before the cruise as well as back to the airport after the cruise. How should we plan our last morning of the cruise? Get up and have breakfast someplace other than where we may be assigned? What time would you suggest? We have planned to have the Limo pick us ap at 8:15 to allow for 1 hr to get us back to the airport, to be there 2 hrs before the 11:21 am flight home. Does this sound like a good plan? Should we do anything different? Don't want to mess things up. Does anyone know what time the early and late breakfast times are? Thanks so much! :cutie:

Late Breakfast is 7:45-8:15 depending on which restaurant you are scheduled to eat in. You may be able to make arrangements to trade seating times. Also Beach Blanket buffet is available anytime you want. We were in no rush and were hoping for a later breakfast and in the end enjoyed BBB on our own schedule:)

So sit-down breakfast has assigned times every day, not just the final
morning? I didn't realize that. On our last cruise with RCI you could go to breakfast or lunch in the dining room anytime you wanted to within the serving time ranges..

I do not believe that there is an asigned time in the dinning rooms except on the last morning. My susgestion would be to do BBB about 7am (you must take your carryons with you as you won't be able to go back to your room after you leave) you will put you other bags out in the hall the evening before for pick up. Just be sure that you leave out the cloths you are planning to where that last morning. I have heard tales of guests having to leave the ship in their pjs. If you leave the ship between 8 & 9 you should not have any problem geting to MCO in good time.

Have a great time I know that you will love it. I have now been on 2 DCL cruises and have a B2B coming up in Sept. I am also trying to plan at least 2more. I am hooked but good. I have become addicted to cruising and these boards.

Again good luck, have a great time. Magie

Breakfast times are only assigned on the last morning :)
You can eat where ever you want on the other days:thumbsup2

With such an early flight I'd probably skip the dining room breakfast and just go to Beach Blanket so you can be in line to be among the first off the ship.
Orlando is an airport where it is recommended you be there 3 hours before flight time, so you will want to head to the airport the minute disembarkation begins.

Are you sure about 3 hrs before? Even our flight info only says 2 hours. Thanks for the advice though. I think we will probably do Beach Blanket that morning.

We are cruising April 15th as well..see ya there!

Great! Do you have any children? My husband Paul and I (Teresa), have 5 children .... girl 16 (Kelsey), boy 14 (Ryan), boy 11 (Jacob), boy 10 (Matthew), girl 6 (Kailey). Can't wait! This is our first Disney Cruise! ..... And yes... I am always doing :laundy:... more and more :laundy: !!!

When we were in a hurry one trip, I just made a trip up to Topsider (BBB) myself and grabbed breakfast for everyone and took it back to the room.

And yes, there are no assigned seating times for breakfast, except for the last day itself. We had late dining on the past trip and had breakfast at 8:00 am and were off the ship around 9:30. I would have preferred BBB over the main dining room, but was outvoted. I love their Muesli!

Also, have you checked out the Meet boards to find others travelling on your same cruise?

We did not have a plane to catch upon disembarkation, but we did have a 6:45 am flight a few days later. Even though we stayed at the Hyatt at the airport and left the hotel by 5:30, we only got to our gate a few minutes before boarding. We had a bag to check and we had to get boarding passes, but what really took long was security -- lots of people with disorganized, undefinite lines that had people cutting in everywhere. And a long walk to the gate after that. I'd say it took about 65 minutes to get from hotel to gate. I think 3 hours is excessive, but less than 2 hours is stressful.

We flew in January when security was TIGHT and carry on luggage was not being allowed on international flights ( we are Canadian) and 2 hours was enough time to clear security etc

So.... from what I have been reading here, it sounds like 2 hrs will be enough time for the airport? We have flown many times and it is always into and out of MCO and we have never had a problem with even less than 2 hrs (usually 1 hr and 45 minutes.) I sure would hate to have this be the one time that poses a problem though! :scared1: I agree that I rather be there too early than not early enough. My husband especially is paranoid about this. Just thought of this.... Does anyone know where we need to be to catch our Limo ride back to the airport? Oh, just thought I would mention this... we only have carry on luggage. Thanks! :cutie:

Looks like you will have to grab breakfast at BB, which is what we do the last day too, but we are trying to be the last off the ship.

Orlando airport on a Sunday morning is the worst. During school holidays, like spring break, it can be chaos. However, I've never missed a flight if I'm there 2 hrs before. If you don't have checked baggage, you are fine. I've found the security line does go pretty quickly considering how big it can get. But the check in times at airlines like Southwest can be really long.

The limo will drop you off at the curb at port and will pick you up at the same location. They are not supposed to park and wait for you but they will circle the area watching for you with your name in the window

Thanks! I think we will be fine. Our flight is with Air Tran. We have never flown with them. I hope things go ok. Maybe just to be safe, we will plan on having the Limo pick us at at 8am. Thanks again. :cutie:

We always ordered room service for breakfast.:thumbsup2

Room services stops at 1:30 am on your last night. No room service breakfast on the last morning
