Hey all!! Thought I would tell you all a little more of our great trip. I had to do laundry yeeks!! So...where was I?? Oh yes..."we can sleep when we're dead" as my DH puts it..
Day 3
So the next day (Tuesday, June 4) after another great breakfast by the DH we were off to MGM...We rode soooo much, it was great! Lots of Characters...The one character that cracked me up the most was..Cruella...geez oh petes..
little kids would wave their hands off and she would give them this look and try VERY hard not to even crack a smile. She would flip her coat and stomp around...she was absolutely hilarious..and as you would walk off she would sorta grin (as long as no one was really looking) That must be soooo hard to do...well maybe not for a few people I know......ok ...back to the story...We rode RR Coaster
3 times each...we did fast pass....I just can't say enough about those...we also did baby swap....so really, the 13 yr DS rode 7 times 3 with me, 3 w/DH and 1 by himself...We saw Voyage of the Little Mermaid..Muppets 3D, Star Tours, and sometime during our running around we had an ok lunch at ABC? I think that's what it was...fast but good....then we grabbed a spot for the parade...WHAT A GREAT PARADE!!! Our pics are wonderful!! After the parade we milled around, rode Tower of Terror and RRC again....did a little shopping...Finally....after another sweaty day....we headed for the cabin......on the bus we discussed our dinner options...we all agreed we were beat...so at Fort Wilderness there are a few options....We voted for Pizza at Crockett's Tavern......WOW...melt in your mouth pizza!! We asked the very friendly waitress how big the pizza was because it said "one size" she says....."8 slices" so...there are 5 of us...5 VERY hungry people ....we'll need 2...right?....Holy cow!! 8 slices = 16 slices for a normal pizza.. or more!!! so here we are with these 2 pizza's that there is no way we are ever gonna eat...We eat 1/2 of one and 1/2 of the other and decide to take the rest back to the cabin for lunch tomorrow...we get the check...now remember.....WE ARE IN DISNEY......$24 something...2 pizzas...drinks for 5....WOW what a deal....and we were taking home lunch.....a darn good lunch at that!! I just had to share that this was a GREAT place to eat...After jumping on a bus to our cabin (all of a 5 min ride) we find our suits and hit the pool...btw...the pools at Fort Wilderness are open 24hrs.....shhhhh don't tell anyone.....it will leave more room for us next time.
We had a PS at Chef Mickeys for 7:30am Wed morning so I got on the phone to find the best way to get there...we had discussed this..however we couldn't come to a SURE solution...except to drive ourself....The guys at the front desk were great, they thought of everything they could...called me back even.....but in the end ..for a PS that early, our best bet was to drive...
