1st timer....need some help

My family (my wife and two girls age 6 and 10) are going to WDW in May. We are trying to put a intinerary together but are having a hard time since we have never been before. Does anyone have one that they could share with us? Also, we were considering the dining plan but we are not sure it is worth it, any thoughts on the meal plans? Thanks in advance....

This year will be our second trip to WDW 5/30 - 06/08/2008

-We did a lot of research on this site and others. This is the first tip! We really enjoy our planning a research! Get the planning video from Disney, it is free! Watch the Travel Channel for shows about WDW, if it is available to you.

-Next, For our family we found that we enjoy the Dining plan, because we do not have to worry about paying for food, it is basically already paid for. We like this. All we have to have is spending money. If you have children that will enjoy character meals, I would look up those first and book an ADR with Disney soon. We really enjoyed Chef Mickeys, Crystal Palace, and Liberty Tree Tavern.

We are staying at Pop Century this year and are really excited because the Food court has Icee's on tap. Our kids love these.


Enjoy your first Trip to Disney World! We did and loved it! And that is why we are going back.
