Hi I booked 3 nights at HNY at the beginning of March! We are taking our 2 children aged 2 and 4. I'm so excited we havent told them yet! Should I try to make a plan of everything we want to do or not? Also dont know if I should book buffalo bill? I saw that u can book on the french site and get a good price but not sure we will need that on top of everything else plus we could only see the tues show which will be our 1st full day and I'm worried about them being tired. Just looking for tips and ideas. Thanks

Hi

Im sure if you wanted to decide on the day you could still get tickets for Buffalo Bills

I would make a list of what you want to do make sure they will be open and do these first!

We are also there the beginning of March xxx

Great we go on 5th. Is it usually busy in march? Would the tickets for buffalo bills be cheaper on the day?

We are going on the 5th too for 3 nights!

When we went in September my Sister her boyfriend my cousin and his girlfriend all bought their tickets on the day as they had an offer on!

I dont think it will be busy I am hoping most people will hold off and wait till 20th Anniversary but who knows?!?!

You would pay the door price which is far more expensive than the price on the link - 59€ adult and 46€ children

The 39€ (or 30€ tickets if you go to the later show) have to be bought at least 5 days in advance :)

I would make a plan. Plans make it easier. I do think our first trip was so good because of planing. We're going in march again and I'm planing. It's part of fun. I'mthinking of going BBWWS, would book inadvance, cheaper option.

We really enjoyed buffalo bills but didn't get around to doing it until our 4th trip. If you do decide to book you won't need a ticket for your 2 year old but they will be expected to sit on your lap.

If I were you I would have a list of the rides you think your girls will enjoy and then try to work out which rides to do when to minimise queuing. Eg Peter Pan will have long queues during the main part of the day but will be very easy to ride during EMH, the teacups on the other hand generally doesn't have too long queues even in the middle of the day. It is also worth looking at the parade/show schedule before you go or when you first arrive and working out how best to fit them in to your trip. On our first visit (pre dis) we spent our penultimate day running back and forward between the disneyland park and the studios to catch the various shows we wanted to see and still missed some. With a bit of planning we could have fitted them all quite easily into our trip without all the running about.

I think its a good idea to at least have a rough idea of what you'd most like to see and do in both parks during your stay. I think you'd be fine going to the earlier showing of Buffalo Bills on your first full day in the parks, I usually find I'm more tired on my last day after all the walking and dashing around we do ;). If you're doing Buffalo Bills, definitely book in advance for the cheap prices.

Thanks, how do I find out about shows and parade times?

When we went though there was an offer on it wasnt as much as 59 euro as I know they wouldnt have paid that for it! I will have to check though!

If you aresnt 100% sure though do you want risk spending 210 Euros and on the day not really feel like it? I wouldnt book in advance unless I knew for sure we wanted to go!

Been twice first time DD1 was 3.5, DD2 6 months, second time DD1 almost 4.5 and DD2 15 months.

Both times we have planned what we want to do but not stuck to it rigidly - you can't with children as you never quite know how things will go.

The parks are quite big so it is better to plan slightly, that way you don't end up backtracking quite a lot. You walk a long way (take a pushchair for both your children as you will need it or hire one when there).

If you have any character meals etc you want to do especially then book them in advance, that way you know what you have to work around and won't feel disappointed if you try to book onsite and it's full. This is especially important for Auberge de Cendrillon (to meet Cinderella and other Princesses) as it's very popular. Even in March, some places like that could get full as they only have so many tables.

You know your children best, how long will it take to travel etc. We haven't done BBWWS yet as I just knew my DDs would be so tired after full days in the park - I want to take them when I know they won't be tired and kranky!

Enjoy planning :wizard:

Well I've been reading the posts for a few days and already learnt loads! Is it cheaper to book buffalo bills through the french site? I found a link for it earlier x

definitely - 39 euros is a good price compared to what you pay on the day.

I bet they got the Facebook promotion which was offered through July to September but there is nothing at all like that at present and no rumours of it being repeated in the near future

The cheapest deal ongoing is les Billets Malin as already given - 39€ pp for the 1st show and 30€ pp for the 2nd show ;)
