Weare taking our children on theier first trip in Jan. Now that is it getting closer and the reality is setting in I need some tips. Our children are 3, 4 and 6. SO far the plan is to take it on day at a time adn let them decide where they want to go and do. (DH & I have been quite a few time). Is their anything they will most likely be scared of. Do you think they will be able to ride most od the rides.
Give your best advice for disney with little ones!!

Thanks

Biggest tip: STROLLERS. Rent a double for the 3 and 4 year olds, and let the 6 year old get off their feet on occasion too. The parks are HUGE. You can rent in advance and just show your receipt. Please trust me that this is probably the best money you will spend all trip. I'd been several times before bringing my very active DD (she was 4 at the time) and didn't realize how big the parks really were from a child's eyes until we really started walking around. ;)

You know your kids best, but just take things in levels. Spaceship Earth is about the most innocent pitch-dark ride you're going to get, and if your youngest is nervous on that, at least you didn't completely freak them out with Pirates first. I like Test Track as a thrill ride test simply because cars are so familiar with kids. Do Muppets before you try Honey I Shrunk . . . you get the idea.

I don't know your kids so its hard to give advice, but as long as you and hubby know the rides you are better off taking them on everything they can and let them make the decision what they like. I have 3 kids also ( ds 5, dd 7, dd 9) and they 5 year old is making his 14th trip, so they do go alot. There are still some rides they won't do, like ToT, but ever since they were babies I took them on Pirates, Snow White and The Great Movie ride. We always talk about what they like and didn't like about the ride and 90% of the time they go again. Good luck and don't let them pick them just go and have fun!!!

Remember - I am not responsible for screaming, crying, or terrified kids :rotfl2: !!!
