Hi, I'm headed to Vero Beach for the first time in Nov. I was a little worried about a couple of negative reviews I read on expidia. Hows the cleanliness and overall feel of the resort. Any watercraft rental. We'll have a ocean view room at the inn, any sugestions, or comments, negative or positive would be most welcome:D

Thanks

My wife and I love Vero. We have always found the resort to be immaculate, and in good repair (with the possible exception of the putt-putt golf).
It is a totally laid back feel, and that is what we love. I just enjoy waking up, working out, then sitting by the pool or walking on the beach until dinner.

"No lines, no crowds, and no 'TOOT' of the angry horn!"

I hope you enjoy Vero!

Ssshhh
Dont brag about VB o loud..
Its a beautiful place, Its very quiet and laid back.
I love the doing nothing.
But if you dont mind the drive there is an outlet mall not too far away and Im sure others can tell you things they have done.

I'd do just about anything to spend time at Vero in November.

It won't be crowded-at least I don't think so.

You'll love it. Pool, beach, ocean, great food, lots of things to do.

We've never had any major problems with cleanliness. If something isn't to your satisfaction just mention it to a CM and they will do their best to make it right.

Don't miss Sunday brunch in Sonya's if you will be there on a Sunday.

Have fun.

Judge for yourself after you have been there........you won't be dissapointed. There are jet skis, kayaks, etc to rent.

Visited Vero for the first time this past July and LOVED it! :) we found the cleanliness and upkeep of the resort to be up to the tough Disney standards.

I have a slideshow of Vero Beach Pictures here: Vero Beach Slideshow (The room pictures are a one bedroom unit, not an Inn room) but there are plenty others of the beautiful grounds, beach and pool area. Don't miss the gorgeous sunrises! :)

There is also a write up of our three days in Vero in our Trip Report here: July 2003 Trip Report

I think you will have a GREAT time! :)

Thanks all! Once again the Disboards community has com through:D Your comments and web links have set my mind at ease. I know I'll have a great time:D :D :D

I went to your website (it was GREAT, by the way) and realized that we were at VB for 2 of your days!! We were there 7/13-7/18 in a 2 BR. This was our first time at VB (it definitely won't be our last!). We have only stayed in studios before at WDW. Now we are totally spoiled! We also ate at Sonya's on 7/17. What a small world! The only problem with Sonya's was that they seemed to run out of a lot of dishes and then there was a mad rush when things were refilled. VB is a great place to stay. I think we should have done it after our WDW trip to recuperate. Oh well, there's always next time!
