1st time to WDW in Feb looking for lodging tips

First of all this board is great, we have been reading the posts and still have a few questions regarding our Febuary trip to WDW.

It seems like its too early to get discounts on lodging at this time,
when would be the right time, and place to get discounts on a WDW property, or off site?

In Febuary it might be cool in Orlando, so the pools might be a little chilly, what do you think is the best in room jacuzzi at WDW, or off site?

Do you think an annual pass is worth it for a 6 day vacation, only 4 will be at WDW. All responses are appreciated

i can only answer a couple of your questions (haven't stayed in a jacuzzi room before at WDW) but I will give you my 2 cents that for 4 days, an annual pass would not be worth the money for you.

That is a pretty busy time for WDW and i don't know the history of AP holder discounts for rooms, but likely since you're splitting up your time between WDW and another location, unless you plan another trip within the following 12 months, an AP wouldn't be cost effective.

It can be cool at nights, my best advice is to pack a windbreaker or other jacket and take it with you! We were there in January once, and the temp in the MK was 28 degrees after sundown!

Can't help you either with a jacuzzi in the room. But we went last January for the first time and our kids 7,4,2 1/2 wanted to go swimming because back home it was -40. The pools at disney are heated and the temp was 84 in the pool and 49 out. So if your worried about the pool temps, don't at least on site.
