Any suggestions on restaurants (seafood) outside of the resort?

A great little waterside bar is Squid Lips. It's about 10 minutes or so from VB.

Ocean Grill on A1A (next to Holiday Inn) around where RT60 comes in if I remember right. Good Seafood, nice atmosphere, but a little pricey.

Just ask at the front desk. They have a book of local restaurants and can provide references for all types of food.

Capt. Hiram's on Rt. 1. just back across the causeway. It is great. Too sections...One is tables in the sand..the other is open air dining room. Food is great and live entertainment. Sits on the bay. You can watch people pull their boats up to eat.

I have to agree with Squidlips, we were there three weeks ago, the food was good and the open air dining room on the dock was nice. A burger on the Green Cabin Deck was a nice place for a quick bite.
