It is just ds (10) and me....
During our upcoming trip, we are venturing out and visiting both Sea World and Aquatica. This will be our first visit beyond WDW and I have tons of questions. (In fact, I have 3 Threads addressing these: "Getting There?!", "Food?!", "Not To Be Missed Attractions?!")

I think I have picked good days to visit each (I hope so, because Disney ADR's are all done!). We will be staying at a WDW Resort 8/25-9/7. We will visit Sea World on Thurs. 8/27 and we will visit Aquatica on Tues. 9/1. These days are listed as 7's on Touring Plans for WDW. I hope they will be good days at SW and Aquatica:confused3 Does anyone know if there are good/bad days to visit these two parks?

Big question:
What is the best way to get there? We will not have a car. Thought about renting, but seemed like a lot of trouble and $ for only needing it on those two days. Other options are the Trolley (cheapest way to go), Mears (which we have some familiarity with from pre-ME days), a towncar ($$$), a taxi ($$). Or some combination of the above. Does anyone have experience with any of these modes of transportation? My priorities are #1 Safety/Reliablilty, #2 Value/Saving $.

TIA

The buses are the cheapest way to go if you have time but it might take you a while to get there, If it was me I would take a cab because I'm not very patient but it would probably be around $20 each way so I can understand going with the other option. I always rent a car because I can't stand not having one. Whatever you decide to do have a great time. Aquatica exceeded my expectations and if you have any questions about the park pm me. Have fun!

I'd look for some good deals on car rentals. Especially if you want to make the best of your two days.

The other option is to take a cab from DTD to Premier Outlets and then hop on the I-trolly. There's no bus that takes you from Disney anywhere near sea world. That's your cheapest public transportation option.

There is a Lynx bus (route # 50 - www.golynx.com) that runs every 30 minutes from the TTC and DTD to Seaworld. You would have to get from your accommodation to the TTc or DTD to catch it.

Not sure about walking over to Aquatica - may be worth e-mailing Seaworld to see if they offer complimentary transfers?

There's a bus that runs between all three. Discovery cove, aquatica, sea world. Just make sure you get on the right one.
