1st time DxDPer's interactive review

I haven't heard anything about Yak & Yeti counterservice really. It would probably be my first choice except that my boyfriend doesn't eat meat. How an asian place doesn't offer at least one veggie or tofu dish is beyond me. In fact the only vegetarian option in AK is Pizzafari; I'm crossing my fingers however that the Picnic In The Park will be available when we go, but I'm not counting on it. We all know what "seasonal" means in Disney talk.

Cosmic Rays has a lot of options. I really liked the BBQ pork sandwich. My sister was not impressed with the turkey bacon wrap; it was like bacon bits and deli meat wrapped in a tortilla with ranch dressing and lettuce. I hear people raving about the chicken & ribs combo; it's a lot of food, maybe a good meal to share.

Cosmic Rays:
I'd really like to try the Ribs and Chicken combo, but unlikely my DH will agree to share, and I'm sure it is too much food for just me! At least in my fantasy world I would get that and an iced mochaccino to drink. This is where reading other people's food reviews really comes in handy. :rotfl: For some reason I never would have thought I could get an iced cappaccino to drink here--but you can! Probably the chocolate cake for dessert. Wish there were more choices on that.

The more I think about it, the more I like the idea of the kids occasionally sharing a meal (they're 3 and 5, they never finish a meal anyway), and DH and I at least sharing this meal and saving a couple of CS credits to use at Main Street Bakery for breakfast one day. I know 2 CS credits would feed the five of us for breakfast at MSB! Yum!

Cinderella's Royal Table:
I need a little more feedback on this one. I'll either get the prime rib or the chicken. I'm just not a fan of seafood, lamb, mushrooms, or anything too spicy and those are the only two entrees that looked like options for me. I don't like prime rib that is too rare. I can handle light pink. How is it here? I'm thinking I'll go with the BLT salad minus the "T". Not a raw tomato fan either. Although I may consider the egg rolls if someone says they're good.

Anyone have any pictures or advice on this?

Yikes! It's crunch time! 4 days until we go! :yay: Fortunately most of the meals I have planned for the rest of the trip are buffet or family style, so not much discussion is needed there. BUT, I do still need recommendations for CRT and snacks in MK! Please, please, please chime in here. I don't want to get back home and realize I missed something! :rotfl: So, what would you recommend for dinner at CRT? What snacks should we not miss at the MK? I'm not a newbie so of course we'll get a Dole Whip float! DH has been talking about the icecream cookie sandwich from MSB too. What else?!!

Can't wait for your trip report - some great venues.

As for CRT - if they still offer it I highly recommend the spring roll starter - have had it three times now and it is lovely. I always go for the lamb for main course but DS had the prime rib last trip - bit too pink for him - almost living IMHO - just the way the youngest loves it.

For dessert I have had the chocolate buckle which was fine but not outstanding but last trip they had a creme brulee which was one of the nicest I've ever had.

the kids ice-cream cup with chocolate crown on top is also lovely.
