1st time attendee! MHP timeline questions

Going to MHP for the first time ever on 10/12... So excited!!! I'm wondering if anyone knows the timeline yet... When does the ride of the Headless Horseman, Parade and fireworks take place? When do most people start grabbing spots for those. Any advice for how to are the most out of the evening? TIA!!!

It's hard to say how early people will be lining up for the first parade since this is a new parade this year. Probably after the first couple of parties we'll have a better idea. To make the most out of your time show up right when the party ticket lets you in (3:00pm) to ride a few rides and then prioritize what it is you want to do most once the party starts. Some people like to go for the short ride lines, others go exclusively to meet characters, some just like to trick or treat. Just know you can't do it all in one party so decide what you most want to do and focus on those things!
