Hi all

We are experienced WDW travelers and I do a few trips a year alone with my girls (dh's work dosen't have school days off!!)

I love the deluxe resorts as they make it so convenient to the parks and have great meal options. We had a difficult time at the CBR as we were so very far from the main area that a quick snack or swim was an ordeal. The girls are older now but still wouldn't be happy to make an 8 mintue walk each way for an ice cream or quick meal after a day at the parks.

I was able to get a great AP rate at CSR (no deluxe avail for our dates) and it looks like a terrific resort. Although I am looking forward to trying it I am worried about the logistics. I plan to fax the room controller ahead of time. I am not picky about floors or view (I do have a water view) but location central to the food court/bus stop is really a concern of mine.

Any advice, tips or hints. Would you attempt this resort alone with a 6yo and 8yo? Any comments on the bus service, food court and sundries store would we appreciated.

If I was you, I would ask for a room in the cabana section, preferably cabana 9b. Then in this order...8a, 8b or 9a. 9b is the closest building to the main building and bus stop #1 with a short walk to the Dig Site (the main pool area). 8a is closest to the Dig Site and bus stop #4 with a short walk to the main building.

You can get snacks at the main building or the Dig Site. They have a pretty good menu at the main pool.

The Pepper Market charges a 10% surcharge on meals so I just wanted you to be aware of that up front. The PM is CSR's food court but it is run differently than most.

If you're tired after a long day at the park, take the bus to the main building instead of walking.
Theme park buses go:
2 - Casitas
3 - Ranchos
4 - Cabanas
1 - El Centro (main building)

Downtown Disney buses, as well as Park Exit buses go:
1 - El Centro
2 - Casitas
3 - Ranchos
4 - Cabanas

CSR buses go in this order so that guests can hop on board a theme park bus and take it to the main building. Then you can hop on a DtD bus to get back to your room.

Check out my website for more detail

Thanks Mario

Thats just the kind of info I was hoping for - your website is cool as well.

I will use your advice when faxing a room request and hope for the best.
