1st time activation number??

we just became members WOOHOO!!! just wondering if anyone knows about how long it takes to get the activation number in the mail so you can log on and access the DVC member site. can't wait to start looking around there...it'll really make it feel real LOL,

Don't wait for the number, call MS and have them give it to you.

I closed in July and waited for my activation number in the mail very patiently. I called MS 1 1/2 weeks after I sent my closing documents in via fedex, and they told me to wait another week and call back. However, the very next day I received an e-mail from my guide with my activation number! I have never received anything in the mail

I called a couple of time to see if I was "in the system". As soon as I was and points available, the CM at member services gave me the activation number over the phone. Signed in with no problem.

Closing was 8/2 and today I was able to sign in to the member site.

My closing is 8/30 and I REALLY want that code to log on to the web site, but my guide is not returning my calls!!!!!

Your Guide can't help you, you do not have a account to log in to. You need to check with MS after your closing and after your account is established and your contract is loaded into the system, them MS can give you your log in code.

Yes, I bought direct. I assumed it was loaded since I have already made reservations using my points!

My activation code was emailed to me from my guide. MS was unable to help me despite several calls to them. They told me to wait for it in the mail!

Hi, original poster here...I called MS the other day and they said they couldn't give me an activation code b/c we hadn't closed yet. we sent back our signed papers overnight on 8/3. I got some papers back that were copies for us to keep that were stamped and dated by DVD and the date was on them is 8/10. I also received at letter saying that financing was approved. So how do I find out an actual closing date? how long does everything take? What else could possibly have to be done to close? Should I try and email my guide? Just wait it out? I am just so anxious to just get on the member site and look around and play around on it. It will make it seem so real. LOL

My guide emailed my activation code as well after I closed. If MS doesn't give it to you, try your Guide - he/she may be able to help.
