1st stay at Poly

Have always stayed at GF and loned it. Last trip-now 9 yr old DD said she would love to stay at the Poly. So heres the plan-she wakes up Eastr am and in her basket are wdw tickets to the poly leaving 630 the next am. I know she will be thrilled, so of course will we. Are we going to love the poly like we do the GF?

If you go with that plan she'll love anything. What a wonderful Easter basket treat, and soooooo much better than a chocolate bunny! I think she'll be fine with the Poly, it has a cool pool (volcano, zero depth). We stayed in the Samoa longhouse, facing the volcano pool third floor. It was a garden view room but you could see the lagoon. Enjoy your trip!

What a great idea!! IMO, I think you like the POLY even more than the GF because I believe your daughter will. Please post a trip report and let us know how it turns out!!!

We love the Poly. It is much more fun than GF for kids.
Very laid back, relaxing feel to the place. Love the rooms.

I think soo, with out a doubt. The theme with the volcano pool is great. Fantastic view of the fireworks from the beach .

We've never stayed at the GF, but we love the Poly. My kids had a great time with the pool and the atmosphere was great! We tried to book it for our next trip and it was sold out!
