1st half june hrs up!

Thanks sooo much for posting Open til 11pm when we go! Second day we are there times have not been released yet but :cheer2: for being open til 11pm first day!

Sorry, had just presumed it would be 9.30 as that is what I had read on another forum but knew it wouldn't be dark enough. Doesn't leave much time between the showings though does it if they do one at 10 pm and one for park closing - would this one start at 11 pm then?

Jo - you are so organised. I go the same time as you and I have done so little it's starting to worry me! I know where I want to eat (I think) but haven't booked anything etc. I think once I get the girls' birthdays out of the way, an upcoming close family wedding, oh and the demolition job going on in our bedroom done :rotfl2:, I'll be able to make a start I hope - that will leave me like a week to do it all :rotfl2:! I haven't even written a list yet - which is SO not like me :scared1:.

No list :scared1: I don't think I could cope without lists. It sounds like you are a bit busy at the moment but should have time to do it later on. I need to be organised now because we have several birthdays, a gymnastics comp and a dancing display in the couple of weeks before we go. :goodvibes

i NEED to book our transfers lol

i have no lists, but i do have my new suitcase.... :lmao: hey, its a start lol

yes, i am failing at the planning side, with not knowing whats on when its horrible - dont they understand that we NEED to know this information??? huh????

i, atm, am just writing the things i want to do, and hopefully i can figure out sum sort of plan that fits them all in!!

i have got sum of our new disney clothes sat nr the cases - does that count???

I think clothes in cases definately counts:rotfl2:

I know I may be in danger of being a bad mother......but just for one night, perhaps your last one, might you consider squishing your daughter into a stroller (she does look quite petite from the photos on your TR!!!), covering her in blankets and bribing her with hot chocolate????? That way your DD could maybe sleep and you could enjoy!! :cool1:

I had thought about this! :lmao::rotfl: It's quite a good idea really. I had thought about buying a really cheap stroller and taking it with us (as I don't think Olivia would sleep in the rental ones - she's a bit like the princess and the pea at times!). That way if she gets a bit tired we could use that.

But thought I might get dirty looks from other parents pushing a (hopefully sleeping!) 5 yr old in a buggy!

If the parks are open until 11, what time do the rides stop? And how busy are rides later in the evening?

I am taking the pushchair for Chester he is 3 and hates the pushchair but I know that its very doubtful he will be wanting to walk around that late after being in the park since 2pm! So at risk of being a 'bad' mummy we will be staying to watch dreams and if Chester is asleep I will be waking him up! :rotfl2: after all its a once in a lifetime show :)
My point is.... I wouldnt give you a dirty look, as a mum I know how tired kids get very quickly and who would want to miss dreams?!! :)

Jo - I know, no list - it's killing me - if I spent less evening time on here and more time being organised I'd be OK :rotfl2:.

I am obviously a totally bad mother as I am renting a pushchair for DD1 (who is now 7 - this week!) for the evenings if we are out - so no doubt lots of dirty looks! She is a tall girl too - OK, she might not be the most comfortable in it but if it saves her little legs and she gets a rest that is fine by me. We have Dream APs so rental is free :). I have decided to take our cheap stroller type thing for DD2 as she will be just turned 4 and isn't the best walker anyway, she will get tired so the DLRP strollers probably aren't the best for her (as someone on here advised me!).

I don't suppose for one minute that my girls will stay up all night to watch dreams. I will have to wake them up - don't plan on doing this every night but once or twice won't hurt I'm sure :thumbsup2.

Does anyone know with the late June opening hours whether the parade in the Park is still likely to be 5 pm. I read somewhere that with late opening hours; they sometimes do the parade later than what is the normal time for most of the year?? thanks:thumbsup2
