1st DVC trip - BWV

We just came back from our first DVC trip from BWV. We stayed in a 1 bdrm # 5074 which was great!! Excellent location - we had a very nice pool view, close to the elevators and the room was very large and in great shape. The washer and dryer was also a blessing since my kids had at least three change of outfits a day.

The service and the atmosphere at the BWV was great. I am actually afraid that I may not appreciate my home resort at AKV since BWV was so great. With three young kids and two strollers the convenience of walking or taking the boat to Epcot or MGM was a very nice treat.

We were lucky with the weather- it was in the low 80's in the day and in the low 60's at night. It was very hard to come back to an ice storm.

I used garden grocer for some food supplies and their service was great and used owner's locker and their sevice was wonderful.

We also attended the dvc merry mixer which was nice. My kids loved meeting all the characters and taking pictures with them. Overall our vacation was almost a perfect 10 except for my airport cancelling all flights for our return. and the very long wait for food at Spoodles.

We also just returned from BWV we were there on Nov 27-Dec 2 and we had a blast. Our children are DS5 DD3 DS2 my kids loved the boardwalk at night with all of the entertainment. My son also loved the pool slide. I see you are from NY so are we. Next time I am going to try and book BCV, since we are owners at SSR I am almost sorry I bought in SSR since these other resorts seem so much more geared to children.

That BWV location is addictive isn't it? You get spoiled...and fast!

Glad you had a great trip.

We have BWV booked for the July 4th weekdays then move over to AKV on the 5th for 5 or 6 days. Can't wait to try bith of them and this is why we love our DVC .

We did BCV last June and had a great stay and Vero in Aug.

We have stayed at SSR 2 times and love that location but do want to try them all out. I have a feeling we will enjoy all the resorts for one reason ot another.

We are also going to try BCV this July. Hopefully it is as nice as BWV. We figured since it will be hot the lazy river at BCV will be nice.
