1st Disneyland trip

We will be going to Disneyland the first of February and are on a budget. What good neighbor hotel is the best located to walk to the parks and how many days do you recommend?

How long are you willing to walk? The very close ones on Harbor Blvd. run around $120 per night, but I love staying in them because it is a very short walk to the gates.

What kind of vacation are you planning? Do you want to relax or do you want to get the most bang for the buck? Do you want to see/do things other than Disneyland?

When are you going? If you're going during the high season you may have to spend about 4 days or more to do everything. But if you go during the low season 2 or 3 days should be enough depending on what you want to do.

don't worry so much about waking if you stay along the ART route. In fact times we have stayed off property I thought it was better to have ART than a long walk. You can also get a nicer room. Try the Hyatt. The Double Tree.

If you want to walk do HOJO or Fairfield. Some locations that are close are more motels and not as nice.

3 days is enough to see and do everything. 5 days is enough to take is easy and go back and do favorites and take breaks for swimming, etc.

Best Western Park Place Inn is the closest good neighbor hotel.

How many days you need depends on which days you go. Usually four days is the recommended minimum for a solid DLR visit. If you go on weekdays in offseason when there are minimal shows you can get away with three days probably.

I think i read somewhere that the first part of February was considered an off season. I believe we will be arriving on a Friday and we are wanting an easy trip we are in no rush at all and I dont mind walking but i would rather be as close as we can.
