Hello people!

My husband and I are celebrating our first anniversay at Disney this year -- but I am at a loss to figure out where we should eat.

What restaurant would go the extra mile to make the evening special?

There are so many! If money's not an object, Victoria & Alberts. It's probably the most regal restaurant on disney grounds. To get in, you have to make a reservation! Now the price is around $125/person and $60 with wine pairings.

This is also not on the dining plan, and if the money's to much for you to bare spending, some other really nice restaurants are: Le Cellier, California Grill, Citricos, etc.

V & A's does have a dress code, and you two could get dolled up and go out. :)

I agree with above except for Le Cellier. The food is great, but there is no romantic atmosphere at all.....though you could eat a little late and go to the light show afterwards (with a million other people!!)

I think the Spirit of Aloha is great too. Dinner show followed by walk on the beach, fireworks and the electic light parade on the water.

Jiko is romantic if you go early and tour the grounds. The steakhouse at the Yacht Club is really good too and a more adult atmosphere. I also recommend the California Grill...very romantic. Time it so you will be there for the fireworks and ask for a window seat:lovestruc

There is always Cindies Royal Table - we did this for our 1st anniversary trip (not the actual day - we did V and A for that), we wore our pins and we let them know ahead of time the reason for our trip. We got free flutes and the whole place wished us happy anniversary. The food was mediocre, but the atmosphere and glasses were special. This might be something to consider!

dh and i ate at the cali grill for our first anniversary, and it was wonderful. we made the reservations at a time which coincided with the fireworks, and that was great. one tip on asking for a window seat - ask for a castle view. first time we went there, we requested a window seat and we were on the opposite side of the restaurant.
i'd also recommend narcoosee's, the food and atmosphere are wonderful, and you can see the fireworks from there too...
happy anniversary! :lovestruc
