I cannot believe our first anniversary is next Friday - time flies! Our DFTW was perfect
I'm really excited about our anniversary!
We were lucky enough to be able to keep the top of our cake, and I know I didn't do a very good job of saving it, I just kept it in the box and wrapped the whole box in plastic wrap, but we do want to try it for our anniversary. Does anyone know the best way to defrost it? When should I take it out of the freezer? Should I put it in the fridge or on the counter to defrost? Any information would be most appreciated - TIA!!

Time flies, eh?

How exciting!

) But it doesn't matter; most people don't eat the fonadant anyway, it just always looks so amazing. The important thing is you had a great anniversary celebration, and you were able to enjoy both the sentimentality and the flavor of your cake.
