I know that you Disneyland Vets are going to laugh at me, but I just get excited about the little stuff!!
With only 17 days and counting until our very first Disneyland trip, I figured that I'd give a few updates.
I haven't started packing or anything any of that stuff yet, BUT I have made our official itinerary and list of parade/fireworks/show times!! We only get to see Fantasmic on 2 nights and the Electric Light Parade on 2 nights! I'm MOST excited about the electric light parade!! I remember it from YEARS ago at Disney World (when I was really young...maybe 6) and then again when I was a Junior in High School. I can't wait to see it again!!!
I also got my special planning package in the mail yesterday! Disneyland operates a lot different from Disney World. You know how at Disney World, you get a room key with your park tickets, dining plan, and credit card option all on one card? Not so at Disneyland! They MAIL your tickets to you VIA UPS Express mail! So now I'm assuming that we'll have room keys separate from our park ticket key. That's a lot of mess to keep up with, but it will be ok!
Well anyway, I was so excited to get this package! I was wondering when we'd receive our bus boarding passes and I did a little research on the Disneyland website. I found out that 21 days before your trip, everything is sent to you VIA Express Mail and you must sign for it!
Since we've reached our 21 day mark, here's our Disneyland package!!!
I was so excited yesterday when the UPS man came to the door because I knew exactly what he had for me!!!
Inside the box was a cute little package all wrapped up with an elastic band.
The front cover showed a "Dream Castle".............
................Then when you open the front flap, it shows the Disneyland Castle!
It also says, "Where Dreams Come True" in white at the bottom but you can't see it very well.
The inside flaps of the package.
A few of the "extras" inside! 2 luggage tags (guess that means I better get to packing)!! Haha! Also included was a Disney Dream Coin, and a note from a Disney Cast Member wishing us a magical vacation!
A few papers inside.....a times guide, Disneyland resort guide, trip insurance information, a letter from the Disneyland Resort, and an instruction on the free "Character Call" that everyone receives when they book a Disneyland Vacation.
The tickets (I'm Mickey and DH is Buzz)...hehe! Also a few "extra" passes...entrance into one Toon Town Morning Madness event, tickets for 2 collectible pins and lanyards, preferred seating tickets for California Adventure, and a boarding pass for an "Ultimate Shopping Experience"....where? I'm not sure and I doubt we'll use it anyway because it's off property. Who knows though...we might get "bored" one day! LOL!
It also had a Downtown Disney Fun Pass Card with discounts on just about every shop and restaurant in Downtown Disney!!! Awesome! Also 10% off tickets for the Disney Store and Marcelline's Confectionery which I'm definitely going to!! I saw pictures of some fudge from there and
It looked AMAZING!!!!!
Last but not least, a suggested planning time line card to help you out a bit with vacation planning!!
I can't wait!
