In US we only want to do two kid shows and the two play areas and look around. And maybe the parade and character breakfast. And at IOA we want to do maybe 3 rides, 1 kids show and the play areas and look around. Is this possible in one day?

If that's all you want to do then it is probably fine. However, don't sell the parks short. There is a lot more to do than most people realize.

Be there in line before IofA opens and immediately ride your three rides. I'm guessing you want to hit rides in the Seuss-themed area.

Skip the character breakfast -- you don't have time for that. But there are some character dinners (in evening) at the on property hotels on certain days of the week. Maybe hit that instead? But know that there are various opportunities to get photos with the characters in the parks -- without the long lines you see for same at WDW. So you probably don't "need" a character meal.

If you do IofA rides, IofA kids show and play areas then head over to US for kids shows (it is hard to line up the times for all of the shows -- don't miss Barney's show because that great playground is at the exit of the show!), then you should be fine.

But don't miss out on some key fun spots for the kids. Despicable Me show exits into a "dance party". But this is something you can do into the evening.

Been there, done that (minus the parade and character breakfast) plus a lot more. Always a weekday doing a non-holiday week with crowd calendars calling for medium or less crowd anticipated. Try it – you’ll like it! Of course 2 days is a lot more fun. :goodvibes

G’day,
