You can add it, but as your date of arrival gets nearer there may be a $50 or $100 fee to change/modify your ressie. So the earlier you decide, the better.

Also, if you want the free DDP, then that is only offered at specific times of year or with a specific PIN and you have to book them then - you gotta read the fine print.

The dining plan has to added to your Magic Your Way package at least 72 hours before your check-in date. They will not charge you to add the dining plan, even if you are within your 45 day window. They will charge you a fee after your 45 day window if you try to downgrade your reservation.

That's pretty much what my travel agent told. I can downgrade anything I like up to 45 days before the trip with no penalty. After that I have to pay a fee to downgrade. Upgrading is totally different. I can upgrade at any time prior to the trip (up to 2-3 days) before we leave with no penalties.

For our trip in March, we are currently on the Deluxe DDP but if I can't get the ADR's I want, then I'm downgrading to the basic. Assuming they ever get the system up and running so I can try to make my ADR's.
