1900 PF or Whispering Canyon?

Would love opinions on which to go to? We've never done WC before...did 1900 PF years ago...great characters but from what I remember I wasn't crazy about the food...maybe just me though?

We went to both last trip. We went to 1900 PF for breakfast and dinner. Breakfast food was OK but was not crazy about the dinner options. Frankly there is not much options to choose from IMO. We did love the characters though. The stepsisters are hilarious at dinner and we liked the Mad Hatter at breakfast. WCC is interactive if you want to be. We do not like to participate but we like to watch. We love the food at WCC also. It is a little more expensive if you are not on the DDP though since it is not a buffet. It will just depend on if you want good food or good character interaction. By the way, we waited forever for our 1900 meals and not at all for WCC.

We have been to 1900 Park practically every trip for breakfast and we love it. The characters are great and the buffet is one of the better ones for breakfast. They have custom omelets and all of the other breakfast type foods. On the other hand, you could not pay us to go back to WCC. The food is terrible and the service was not great either. Definitely not worth the trip. There are so many better restaurants at WDW to choose from. I would not go back there.

Can you be a bit more specific thou? is it for breakfast or dinner? the two are very different experiences.

1900 PF dinner isnt very good at all, its not just you. I didnt like the selection or quality of food. Nothing was even warm, it was lukewarm at best. Dessert selection sucked too. I wouldnt go back, but im glad i tried it cause the characters were hilarious.

1900 PF breakfast was AMAZING! Delish food. I loved it. Characters were good too.

If you want dinner, i'd go with WCC. If you want breakfast, i'd go with 1900 PF.

Bummer...we needed either for dinner. While I don't remember loving the food at 1900, some of the reviews of WCC food aren't so great either. If it's anything like the food at HDDR....that wouldn't be good

Although I will admit dessert options at PF are lousy, but oh golly that strawberrry soup is to die for!! Go 1900!! No question about it!

See, i dont get the hype with the strawberry soup. Dont get me wrong, it tastes great. But it was odd for me cause it was cold, i wasnt sure if i should drink it with a straw or eat it with my spoon. After two sips I was done, had enough. It was just odd. Lol.

I personally dont like 1900PF dinner. The food wasnt good in my opinion. very disappointed with it. Characters were very funny thou. If it werent for them, i'd be ticked and felt I wasted my money/DP.

I havent been to WCC so i cant help you there either. Sorry.

I have to say thou, 1900 PF breakfast is terrific. Food is great.

Since you said you've already been to 1900 PF dinner, why not try something new??? If you've never been to WCC I say give it a shot. You cant always pay attention to the reviews, (not unless every single person you talk to tells you its bad, then i might listen lol!) but if the reviews are mixed, which in this case they are, i'd say go for it. You just might like WCC. Some ppl swear its the best, while others think its nasty.

For example, ppl constantly rave about Le Cellier....so i went and tried it, and I hated it. I wasnt impressed at all. Lol.

I didn't think the WCC was all that. The food wasn't that great and we were disappointed by the interaction. I don't know, my family may have an intimidating appearance or something. When we asked for ketchup, we got the call for ketchup which was fine, although our waitress wasn't all that loud about it. However, we saw some people had HUGE... and I mean HUGE iced teas. They looked good. My wife asked for an iced tea and they brought her a regular sized one... lame! No other interactions besides the ketchup.

Never tried 1900.

We ate at both on our last trip and I agree that the food at WCC is better. Plus the milkshakes are (or were) on the DDP. We had a fun server too!

1900 PF was awesome too though for us b/c the characters were great. My son asked Cinderella to marry him and she planted a big ole kiss on his cheek.

Since you've done 1900, I vote for WCC.

We ate at 1900 PF for dinner on our last trip and WC for lunch. This trip we are doing both of them as dinners. We were going to do WC for lunch again but had to move it to dinner because of a scheduling conflict. I thought the food there was good. 1900 PF didn't have the best food I've ever eaten, but it wasn't awful either. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the characters there though!

Whispering Canyon hands down has better food for breakfast and dinner.
