I ate at 1900 Parkfare on Friday 4/4/08 for dinner. The character experience was great for my DD who was turning three and was in a world of her own being called a princess. First time I have seen my DD turn red and flirt with a guy(prince charming). I know it wont be the last!

That was great, but I was not impressed with the food at all. My DW, myself and DD did not eat at all, the food did not taste great and a lot of it was not to our liking.

Plus, good thing we were on the DP, because I would have never paid what they charge.

Sorry, just my opinion and putting my two cents in.

Sorry you feel that way. Everyone has their own opinion. We loved Park Fare for dinner. The food was great when we were there, but because DD4(3 at the time) was so embarrassed around Prince Charming she refuses to go back! I have to admit....he was purty darn handsome. Probably the best loking Prince Charming I've ever seen myself or in any pictures from you all!:goodvibes

Are they still serving prime rib during dinner? The last time I ate there was in 12/2006. Seems like you cannot go wrong with the prime rib if you like meat. There were ten in our party and no one had any complaints then. I hope the dining plan has not caused Disney to cut corners. That would be a shame.

The prime rib was there and about the only decent item on the menu, besides the tomato and mozz salad.

Another one here who hated it, surprising really because we liked all the other meals we tried at WDW.

Now you have me worried. We have dinner plans their our first day of arival. I mainly picked it for the character experience, but was hoping the food would be at least decent. :sad1:

I would not be worried. The food there is decent. It is not great, but I found things that were good. I wasn't impressed at first either, but then I took my time and tried a few things that were quite tasty. I think you will find something that you will like. The desserts are good too. They have salads, too. Plus, I ate some things from children's side, pizza, mac and cheese. I tried a little of everything and didn't leave hungry. It wasn't the best meal but it wasn't the worst either. The experience of the characters was worth it for us.

I agree completely. You've got to try it at least once.
