Okay - all you experts! We are first timers heading to Disney in December. I realize that we will have to use 2 dining credits to go to Cinderella's Royal Table for dinner or we could use 1 dining credit and go to dinner at 1900 Park Fare. What do you all recommend? My children are 9, 6, and 2 (the oldest and youngest are girls). I'm usually a frugle person but if it's worth it will go to the castle. What do you all think?

Thanks!

Carol

We have done both 1900PF for breakfast(twice) and CRT for breakfast(3times) and as far as food for breakfast goes...1900PF wins! Not that CRT is bad, but 1900 tastes better. We are doing the 1900 PF dinner this trip, so I can report on that in a few weeks. CRT is cool just to eat in the castle, the princess are fun, sometimes I think a bit too hurried and the food is ok. If it were me...we would pay out of pocket for CRT and use the 1credit for 1900. BTW...we are doing the dining plan for the first time this trip too. Very much looking forward to it!

We used the dining plan for our vacation in October and it was excellent! When we went, however, we had dinner at CRT and it only used one credit per person. Have they changed the plan? I would double-check, just to make sure. As a side note, I didn't care too much for the food in the castle. The atmosphere was great, but I would pick 1900 Park Fare ANYTIME! The food is better and the atmosphere is better suited for kids. My son (5) didn't like CRT at ALL!!

1900 PF, hands down. Better food (oh, the bread pudding with warm vanilla cream sauce is to die for!), better atmosphere, less stress, and Prince Charming is a cutie. Ask him why it's called Cinderella's Castle when he's the prince, it drives him nuts! :lmao:

I would definitely say 1900 PF has better food, but it is my personal opinion that everyone should experience eating in the castle at least once. Do your kids prefer the characters at 1900 PF over Fairy Godmother at the castle?

1900 Park Fare is one of the better meals you will eat at Disney. The food, the atmosphere, everything is great! I've done CRT and Park Fare. 1900 Park Fare is the one I choose to do over and over again on every Disney trip. I've never been dissapointed.

1900 Park fair - they even have Prince Charming for your son - and the 2 mice will 'play games' with the boys.

Great food - wonderful place for pictures and the GF lobby is a must see.

I would also pick 1900 park fare. There is a variety of food that is out of this world. The characters were awesome and the Fairy Godmother was out in the Lobby. And since CRT now takes 2 credits, I doubt I would go back there. JMO. :flower3: pixiedust:
