Hi there

I did our ADRs this morning and wasn't able to book either CRT or Akershaus...we are a party of 11 so I'm thinking that was part of the problem. Anyway, as a third resort I went with the Cinderella Happily Ever After Dinner at 1900 Park Fare. At least there is a princess involved I figured :)

Can anyone give me some reviews on this dinner?

We have done 1900 park fare. The dinner was very nice. The service was good, the food was good. I did get sick after the dinnerand i was the only one in our group that had salmon so i am thinking that it was the salmon that made me sick. The kids really enjoyed the characters.

We had dinner there several years ago. The food was good, but it was VERY loud. We are going to have breakfast there this trip.

We thought it was a OK buffet (about the same as on cruises) but it is not the same atmosphere as CRT of Akersus. The GF is beautiful though.
There is no entry picture with Cinderella but all of the characters will stop and take them with you if you want.
If you go, be sure and try the "strawberry soup", it's on the salad table.

It's one of our favorites. Have you tried by any change to do 2 reservations for Akershus. You could try to do a 6 people and then a 5 people ressie and arrive early and ask to be seated close to one another.

search youtube for 1990 Park Fare (add "dinner" or "Cinderella") and you'll see some videos of the character interaction; it looks like the step sisteres put on a great show (I won't find out first hand until March). IF you have a boy in your party who's willing to play along have him propose to them!

You might want to keep trying the other two right up until your trip as well.

I highly recommend what a previous poster said, try doing the reservation for a table of six and a table of five. I bet you'll get the ressie then. :goodvibes

1900 Park Fare's buffet is OK, but honestly the characters will more than make up for it. I believe it's the only palce you'll get to see the Prince up close and personal.

Ok, question on this: if I book two reservations do I have to use 2 different credit cards as holds? I tried to do this earlier and it kept saying there was an error with my card #. So then I tried doing one with my cc and one with my debit card and that didn't fly either. How do you do 2 reservations on the same account??

:confused3

Just returned from a Girls Only Trip to WDW and 1900 Park Fare was our first ADR for dinner. Well I've read many mixed reviews and I am on the side of the fence that says I never want to eat there again. Ok, maybe, if we have granddaughters someday. :rotfl2: The food was strange in my opinion but I suppose I'm a picky eater. We thought that since this place is packed with families of little girls (and of course boys too) that the food selection was not family friendly. Don't get me wrong they do have a selection of kids food items which I partook in. Haha. It just didn't float my boat. Sorry for the negative opinion but that's how it goes. The character interaction was enjoyable though so that's a good thing. :) Happy Planning.

Food is pretty good for a buffet with a very big selection of different items from plain to a little fancy.Service is good and the stepsisters STEAL the show. The price is comparable with dinner theaters locally but the food is a bit better IMHO

We enjoyed the 1900 Park Fare dinner! You get the whole bunch - Cinderella, Prince Charming, Lady Tremaine, Anastasia, and Drizella. The food was plenty good. And the Grand Floridian is a fun resort to visit in the evening. The new floor tiles with characters is really nice, there is an orchestra and piano player in the lobby... if you're there at 9pm, you can see the lighted boat parade.

A more detailed review with photos of the food is at my link below. We also like 1900 Park Fare's breakfast with Mary Poppins, Alice, and the Mad Hatter....

OP, you didn't mention whether you were traveling with kids... I will say that with kids (we went last year with DD6 and DS3), 1900 PF is a blast! The stepsisters are great fun. Drizella asked DS3 to "go to the ball" and when the dance music started, she escorted him to the center of the room and danced with him. So much fun. Then for the remainder of the evening Drizella and Anastasia "fought" over him. We all had a great time. My kids loved CRT, but 1900 PF is the one they still talk about.

I really enjoy 1900 park fare!!! I have had their breakfast and dinner. I think you will enjoy it too!
