I have a daughter that will turn 10 the week we are there and a 12 year old son, along with my mother and my husband and I. I was thinking of going to 1900 park fare, what are your views on us going there and paying out of pocket. Is it more for the young kids? The other thing I think about is my mother and daughter eat like birds, so I wan't to make sure it is worth the money to go. Thank you for any info!

We love it there for breakfast and a lot of times pay o o p

I had to choose a breakfast to pay OOP for. Price-wise it made my list.

However I have a Crystal Palace schedule before it and will pay OOP for it instead. Only $1.37 different between the 2!

According to all-ears (note prices may not be accurate by arrival time) CP is $20.99 adult and 1900 PF is $22.36 for breakfasts.

Ohh, and my daughter is 11 and hardly eats a darn thing! (wry grin) But I know she will at least "graze" the items on the menu instead of flat-out refusing to eat. And she is looking forward to meeting the characters!

We took our 12.5 and 6 year old nieces and they had a good time but none of us liked the food or the noise level...we could have gone elsewhere for better food and seen Cindy and her Prince at MK

We've had both breakfast and dinner there. We really do enjoy the atmosphere there and the characters. They have unusual characters, like Alice in Wonderland and Mad Hatter for breakfast and for dinner the step sisters and step mother really get into character - there are quite entertaining. I enjoy the food there as well, just keep in mind it's mostly standard buffet fare.

We loved Park Fare for dinner. Haven't tried breakfast yet, doing that on the next trip. Character interaction was great.

It's been a must do dinner for us the past 2 times. DD9 loves Prince Charming! The character interaction is great. The food, well...I wasn't crazy for it; but my family seemed to enjoy it. My picky DH never complained, so it must be ok.

Now this time, we have scheduled a breakfast. Never had it there before, and I am looking forward to the different characters. I will be paying OOP, but I think it will be worth it.

ABSOLUTELY!!! DO IT! We love 1900 Park Fare for Dinner!! The Step Sisters are hysterical! People without any kids go to this character dinner. Its a hoot! As far as paying oop though...I would look at the prices of all the other restaraunts you are going to and see if there is one cheaper and then use the DP for this one.

I love 1900 PF for dinner, the stepsisters are so funny! I pay OP for it and with tip for 1 adult and 1 child it is around $70. It is one of the more expensive character meals at the resorts. I go back every year, so I feel it is worth it. The food is so so, nothing to write a review on.

I've been on the fence about 1900 Park Fare but I figure anything can be better than Chef Mickeys (NEVER again unless they change something). I like the idea of seeing the stepsisters so we'll see about this one when I go in September. Thanks for asking because it is good to see everyone's comments.
