1900 Park Fare

I had dinner there. Food was pretty good, but service wasn't. Characters were rushed. The mice came by twice, but Cinderella only once for less than a minute and the prince skipped my table. We had to flag down the lady who handles the characters to let her know and he finally made it to us 10 min. later after we finished eating.

Last time my mom and I went to WDW we did breakfast at 1900 PF. There were many varieties of food and we enjoyed it very much! The characters we met were Mary Poppins, Tigger, Pooh ... and my two favorites Alice and the Mad Hatter! Our waiter mixed up our reciept with another table and my mom pointed it out to him, he gave us the option of paying the price of theirs or the price of ours, ours was cheaper so we went with that! Excellent service!

We went for breakfast in 2008 and loved it!!! It was the best we'd had all week. We are planning dinner there in May. I hope the sister are on the worst behavior, we just love them!!!!

This is our favorite breakfast buffet at WDW. The french toast is amazing and the Mad Hatter is hilarious!

We did dinner the last two years at 1900 Park Fare and both times the food was great and the character interaction was hilarious :thumbsup2 It is our favorite buffet :yay:

We ate at 1900 PF for the first time in December. We did the Happily Ever After Dinner with Cinderella, Prince Charming, Lady Tremaine, Anastasia and Drizella.

The food was very good, a nice variety of rather high quality for a buffet IMO. There was plenty the kids enjoyed as well. We had a wonderful server AND had the chance to chat with a manager who was walking around. We were celebrating my Mom's retirement and he offered her a job at WDW; I begged her to take it!

When we checked in we requested to be seated in the 'center' (thanks to SAH95 for this tip); we were taken to the center area and were seated right next to the buffet. It was also right by the door where the character come out! We were the 2nd table to be visited by every character! Our server told us to pay attention to the music, there is a musical overture then an introduction for the character coming out.

DD2.5 was dressed in her Cinderella dress and received many nice comments.
I had read a thread about boys bringing rings for the step sisters, so got a pack of plastic rings from the party store for $1 for DS4.

First up was Prince Charming who gushed over DD and inquired which kingdom DS hailed from.

Next was Cinderella, she was gracious and very sweet to DD. She absolutely enchanted DS! She gave him a little kiss and loved the special ring.

Cinderella was followed by Lady Tremaine. I have read in other threads that she is mean, but she was not so with my little ones. She was snooty but gentle; a nice mix for her character. She was mildly pleased with her ring (she's a hard one to please ;)).

Anastasia come out next and was SO over the top and obnoxious we were just cracking up! She spent quite a bit of time talking to DD when she mentioned that she looked like a maid and asked if she did windows. Totally lost on the 2 y.o. but well played for the adults! She was thrilled about being engaged with a ring and all!

Drizella zero'd right in on DS. When he gave her the ring she kissed him all over and wanted to know if he owned any land. She gave him what my DH calls a "brumski".

. She yelled and yelled to tell Anastasia she had a ring!

Then it was time for the Royal Waltz. Guess who Cinderella headed to to ask for the first dance? My DS!!!! I will admit that I shed tears! :littleangel:

As each character headed back to their 'lounge' for a rest they stopped by our table again. We were just finishing up dessert when they announced the characters again. Each one stopped by to say Hello and spent a few more minutes.

Needless to say I would recommend this dinner to anyone with kids. It was one of those pixie dust nights that will live in my memory forever!

Oh, and I pre-ordered the Glass Slipper dessert for my Mom. It was so worth the $15!

And now for the pictures! Click on them for full size.

We went there 2 weeks ago and I didn't think the food was that great. It wasn't bad, just not good either except for the desserts. We enjoyed the food at Crystal Palace a lot more.

I have kept going back in my head countless times...CRT or 1900 Park Fare. I'm almost positive we're going to give 1900 Park Fare a try. I really want to see the step-sisters more than anything, and I know DD would love to see Cinderella AND Prince Charming ;). We plan on getting DD the slipper dessert since we're essentially celebrating her birthday by taking her to DW even though we'll be there a few days before her actual birthday. We're also doing breakfast at Akershus.

I had a very similar experience as @Mrs D! I looked at your pictures and when I took my 5 year old girly girl we saw the same Cinderella and Anastasia.. it was so precious! That is SO cute about your son bringing them each a ring! I will have to remember that one for the future :0)

I would recommend it to anyone. My mom and I both go SUCH a kick out of the step mother and step sisters! They were hilarious! Lauren was dressed as Cinderella, and to be honest has many of the same features.. big blue eyes, long blonde hair, so when you add the dress and glass slippers... :0) Prince Charming made such a fuss over her, "oooOOOooo you look JUST like my Cinderella! But I see you have a strap on your shoes, thats smart, my Cindy is ALWAYS losing hers!" Everyone came over and engaged her and didn't rush through to get to the next table. The stepmother spent the longest with her, helped her put on her cinderella gloves and jewelry so she would be "looking her absolute best for their picture together" :0) We did the ultimate girls week and did the princess meals at cinderella's castle and Akershus, and I have to say this was DEFINITELY the favorite!

The food was good, since its buffet style there's lots of variety. I'm a super picky eater, but I thought it was one of the best meals we had there! I agree this was one of those nights of disney magic that we will never forget!
