We ate at 1900 PF for the first time in December. We did the Happily Ever After Dinner with Cinderella, Prince Charming, Lady Tremaine, Anastasia and Drizella.
The food was very good, a nice variety of rather high quality for a buffet IMO. There was plenty the kids enjoyed as well. We had a wonderful server AND had the chance to chat with a manager who was walking around. We were celebrating my Mom's retirement and he offered her a job at WDW; I begged her to take it!
When we checked in we requested to be seated in the 'center' (thanks to SAH95 for this tip); we were taken to the center area and were seated right next to the buffet. It was also right by the door where the character come out! We were the 2nd table to be visited by every character! Our server told us to pay attention to the music, there is a musical overture then an introduction for the character coming out.
DD2.5 was dressed in her Cinderella dress and received many nice comments.
I had read a thread about boys bringing rings for the step sisters, so got a pack of plastic rings from the party store for $1 for DS4.
First up was Prince Charming who gushed over DD and inquired which kingdom DS hailed from.
Next was Cinderella, she was gracious and very sweet to DD. She absolutely enchanted DS!

She gave him a little kiss and loved the special ring.
Cinderella was followed by Lady Tremaine. I have read in other threads that she is mean, but she was not so with my little ones. She was snooty but gentle; a nice mix for her character. She was mildly pleased with her ring (she's a hard one to please

).
Anastasia come out next and was SO over the top and obnoxious we were just cracking up! She spent quite a bit of time talking to DD when she mentioned that she looked like a maid and asked if she did windows. Totally lost on the 2 y.o. but well played for the adults! She was thrilled about being engaged with a ring and all!
Drizella zero'd right in on DS. When he gave her the ring she kissed him all over and wanted to know if he owned any land. She gave him what my DH calls a "brumski".
. She yelled and yelled to tell Anastasia she had a ring!
Then it was time for the Royal Waltz. Guess who Cinderella headed to to ask for the first dance? My DS!!!! I will admit that I shed tears!
As each character headed back to their 'lounge' for a rest they stopped by our table again. We were just finishing up dessert when they announced the characters again. Each one stopped by to say Hello and spent a few more minutes.
Needless to say I would recommend this dinner to anyone with kids. It was one of those pixie dust nights that will live in my memory forever!
Oh, and I pre-ordered the Glass Slipper dessert for my Mom. It was so worth the $15!
