1900 Park Fare

Hi, it is a good restaurant to eat at. We much prefer the dinner rather than breakfast, however it depends on who you are wanting to see as far as characters. At breakfast lately it has been Pooh, Tigger, Piglet, Mad Hatter and Mary Poppins. At dinner it was Cinderella, Prince Charming, Lady Tremaine, Drizella and Anatasia.
The meals are all buffet and very good choices. Enjoy, definitely worth going in my opinion.

I've only been to breakfast there, but didnt like it. The one good thing I will say is they have a nice variety of characters. At my breakfast I saw Alice, Mad Hatter, Tigger, Pooh, and Mary Poppins. The food was not that great and neither was the service I had.

Dinner is very good, with quite a wide selection. I'm a vegetarian and my son has food allergies and 1900 PF was very accomodating; the chef came out and spoke to us personally. The character interaction is fun, because they talk to the kids and interact with them. Very cute with my daughter and Prince Charming! We enjoy it for dinner, we'll try breakfast on our upcoming trip. Have fun:thumbsup2

We have done Cinderellas Royal table for both breakfast and dinner. It was great both times. I think we prefered dinner because we actually got to see the fireworks from inside the castle during dinner...

We were unable to get reservations for CRT on our upcoming trip and the lady booking our ADR suggested 1900 Park Fare...We went ahead and booked it so I hope that we are not disappointed...

I loved 1900 Park Fare! I thought the food was great for a Disney buffet and felt a lot more high end than Chef Mickey's. The food was wonderful as was the service. I especially loved the huge Twinnings tea selection. I'm also a fan of Mary Poppins so this may have biased my view. We met Mary Poppins, Alice, the Mad Hatter, Pooh and Tigger and the character interaction was wonderful :)

We enjoyed the breakfast... a variety of food everything from cereal to custom made omelets, lobster eggs benedict, mickey waffles, and so on.... even strawberry soup (Mary Poppin's favorite). The character interaction was very nice - authentic Mary Poppins, plus Tigger, Pooh, Alice in Wonderland.... and the Mad Hatter was hilarious. We will go here twice on our next trip!

Are Pooh and Tigger only there now because CP is closed for refurb? Or are they there even when CP is up and running?

We do 1900 Park Fare on every trip. It is my 6 yo DD's choice. We have eaten there 4 times, and only once were we unhappy with the food and service. You can have a bad experience at any restaurant.
My 2 yo son and I prefer the breakfast, while my DD and DH prefer the dinner. It is on our list for our next trip.

I was coming to ask about the same place. Last year, we did CRT. Trying to skip that, but my little one, 3, comes home every day, puts on a princess dress and heels, and goes "to the ball with Prince Charming".. Is he a regular? I would LOVE for her to meet him! :lovestruc

Another reason we chose here, was at CRT last year I ordered the slipper dessert. That was my girls favorite part of the meal. I've heard they are available at 1900 PF, too, so I plan on ordering one for them there, too! Little one talks all the time about her chocolate slipper!

But how can they be there and at CP at the same time? Utilidors between GF and MK? ;)
They push on their scooters through the underwater tunnel, of course!

How's the quality/variety of food at dinner? We will definitely do breakfast but even though it is just DH, DW and DS5, DS5 thinks the stepsisters are funny.

The stepsisters are a riot! One of them asked DS if he was single and then if he had a job. She then asked if he would like to get married and DD could be their maid. DS eagerly agreed but DD didn't like that one bit. It was funny. Prince Charming interacted quite a bit with DS too. He asked where we'd been and what rides we went on etc.

I thought the food was fabulous at both breakfast and dinner. Strawberry soup? Who'd have guessed we would love that! Breakfast was our last meal before checking out to return home. I wanted to end our trip on a positive note and so I told the kids if they still had room, they could have icecream for dessert. They thought that was great.

Went to dinner once, didn't like it. This was in 2006 though, before they changed the characters (used to be Cinderella, the Prince, and a few mice).

Don't like the decor, either. Too fru-fru.

We really like it for breakfast and dinner. I have been there probably 8 times in the past five years with never anything but great food and fun characters.

What I like about breakfast is that they have an omlette station and a huge variety. What I like about dinner is also they have the different stations so you get a nice variety.

At some point somebody is going to come on this thread and really hate the place but that happens with all restaurants. If the menu and character roster appeal, by all means book it!

We had dinner there the 1st week of December and really liked it. It was our first visit. The food was good and there was a wide variety of stuff to eat. The desserts are really really good. We also loved the chilled strawberry soup. The kids loved it and loved the characters. Even us adults were laughing a lot at Lady Tremaine and the step-sisters.

We went to the afternoon tea at GF and when leaving they had the back door to 1900 park fare open and we watched from afar. When I saw the prince down on bended knee talking with the guests I knew it would be on my short list for our next trip. Here is a photo with DD, she was absolutely blushing as he spoke to her. Enjoy.

We did 1900 Park Fare for dinner this past December and we thought the whole experience was just o.k. The food was not the best, but surely edible...however we LOVED all the desserts. The Step Mother and Step Sisters must of had an off day because they were not as hilarious as others have said they were on these boards. Cinderlla did her thing as always, but the one person that we all got a kick out of was the Prince. He was just goo-goo over my 2 DDs, plus he found out that that night was our first night in WDW, so he asked where our adventures were going to lead us while we were staying there, so my DD8 said that we were to go to Epcot the next day, so the Prince told my DD that if she sees Alladin to ask him if the Prince could borrow the Magic Carpet for him and Cinderella. That got DD giggling because she loves Alladin and Jasmin....Anyway, the next day we did meet up with Alladin and Jasmin and DD8 told Alladin what the Prince said, unfortunately Alladin was not too happy with the Prince's request :goodvibes
