I was told that the character meal will be moved to the grand floridian cafe, but will it still be served a buffet or table service/family style meal?

Sounds like Chef Mickey's is a better character dining option unless you want a princess.

It will be back to a buffet at 1900 PF by Christmas.
We'll be there too!

between 7/9 - 10/1, 1900 Park Fare will be closed for refurbishments.

during that time, the breakfast, dinner and tea party traditionally held there will be moved to the grand floridian cafe.

park fare will continue to take reservations during that time period. the cafe will not. and it will be a pre-plated meal.
