Is this character dinner really worth it. It's just me and the Dfi, but we love characters.

How's the food? Is it typical buffet food like Chef Mickey's or is it different?

Thanks for all your help!:thumbsup2

We ate there last month and loved it! The characters were Cinderella, Prince Charming (and he was verrrrry charming), the fairy godmother and the mice. The buffet was excellent. We thought it was a cut above. Whatever you decide, have fun!:wizard:

Thank you, I just worry that my Dfi will think it's a bit kiddie for him, lol. He loves Mickey and friends but I think the princesses may be a bit much for him.

We didn't do dinner there we had breakfast and I thought the food although still a buffet was much better than Chef Mickey's and Crystal Palace. At breakfast we saw Pooh, Tigger, Alice and Mary Poppins and the character interaction was some of the best we have had at breakfast Character Meals.

I would like to try dinner sometime.

We loved it character interaction at dinner wonderful. In fact we loved it so much that when we go back at Thanksgiving that is where we are having our Holiday Dinner.

My Dfi will eat anything and I mean ANYTHING!!! So he will love it, I'm the picky eater so Im just worried I won't be happy with it.

My family (party of 8) had dinner there last Wed. night.
We had a great time.
In no way would I consider it to "kiddie" for just adults.
It is a beautiful restaurant in a gorgeous resort & is not loud & crazy like Chef Mickey's.

did it this morning. mary poppins, pooh, tigger and alice & mad hatter (together). had a late seating, mary was out in front as a greeter at first, but as the seatings ended and the place emptied, she came inside and the characters spent a lot of time interacting with eachother. tigger 'borrowed' mary's umbrella against her will a couple of times.

character interaction was great. the mad hatter was the hit. and as far as the food goes, it's typical of the bigger buffets, but park fare also is known for its strawberry soup and the food was pretty much on par with crystal palace's breakfast. aside from the strawberry soup, i had an ordered omelet, sausage, mickey waffles and the same potatoes they serve at boma (a bit early in the morning for that spice).

One of the best buffets in WDW. Almost as good as Boma. Great selections. CP and CM do not compare. Even though it is a Character restaurant we go for the food.
