On Sunday, October 20, I closed out my time at Disney World with a solo breakfast at 1900 Park Fare! I loved it!! As a solo adult traveler, I wasn't sure what kind of reaction I would receive from the characters, but they were amazing! Mary Poppins and Burt were in the waiting area at a coloring table for children, though they were quite happy to have a picture taken with me as well. I was seated very shortly after my arrival ~ my PS was for 10, but I was there and seated by 9:30am! My table was right near the door where the servers took the used plates, but it was all good. I never felt "shafted" or anything. The food was amazing ~ french toast, strawberry soup (it's cold, so don't expect it to be hot), bread pudding with vanilla sauce, and an awesome ham and cheese omlette made fresh to order! The characters inside were Tigger, Pooh and Alice in Wonderland. They were all awesome! Tigger went in for a break, and when he came back out, he poked around looking right at me! He came over to greet me and soon tapped a server to take out picture. Pooh was also very good with me! Alice came over and we chatted for a few minutes before she moved on to the next table. A couple of tables away, I heard a child ask where Eeyore was (his picture was out front rather than Tigger's...the child wasn't upset, just wondering). Alice responded without missing a beat, "He is usually here, but this morning he wasn't feeling very well, so Tigger offered to come along with Pooh today."

It was an incredible way to end an awesome trip, and I'd definitely do it again!!

Thanks for the review, Beth! The bread pudding with vanilla sauce is my favorite--they have it during dinner, too. :)

I love bread pudding but didn't know it was there when we went for Breakfast this past June :( Oh well, now I know it's there for breakfast and we're going back this spring so I'll be getting some bread pudding for sure.

Also don't laugh, but I don't know who Burt is?? Can you tell me :p ?

Maybe it's Bert, not Burt (those multiple spellings get me all the time!!). Anyway, he's the guy in Mary Poppins who does the street painting, the chimney sweeping, etc. Dick VanDyke's character. HTH!

Oh okay thanks, you know I never really watched that movie I don't think. Unless I was just too young to remember it. I love 1900 PF though and I think my 9 yr old dd enjoyed it more than CRT at least this time around ;)

Don't forget the vanilla sauce when you go . ;) It is SOOO yummy with that warm bread pudding. :) Couting down to my next visit to 1900 Park Fare. Bread pudding here I come. LOL :)

That is so funny cause I work in a place that our chef makes homemade bread pudding every Tuesday (today) and Thursday and it's a dieter's nightmare it's sooo good. It has a cream cheese topping already baked in on the top. I've never had bread pudding with Vanilla sauce though so I hope it measures up . . . . I'm just glad they have it in the morning along with those cheese blintzes wow all that cheese

I have got to try this bread pudding when we go in Dec! Thanks for the review!

Wow! I'm really glad you enjoyed eating here. When I went in June i was a little disappointed because Alice and the Mad Hatter skipped right over our table. The only character that came up to our table was Eeyore. I wonder if this was because I did not have any children at our table. Mary Poppins spect her whole time in the lobby outside of the restaurant where anyone could greet her--not just people dining at 1900 Park Fare. Does she always do that? I'm glad you had a nice dining experience though!! :) :sunny:
