Which do you prefer Chef Mickey's or 1900 park Fare for breakfest? Which has better food? Which has better character interaction?

I think Park Fare has better interaction - the Madd hatter is hilarious! We prefer doing Chef Mickey's for dinner, and we try to do Park Dinner for both breakfast and dinner since the characters are different.:goodvibes

We did Chef Mickeys for Bfast last Dec. It was awesome! And early! :) We also did Crystal Palace and I do remember thinking I prefered the food at CP, but not by a huge margin. We are doing 1900 PF for Breakfast this time around. The menu looks good, same basics as Chef Mickeys. My kids aren't huge into Alice In Wonderland, but they will have fun regardless Im sure. Plus I would love to see the Grand Floridian at christmas! :)

Food wise? 1900 PF. Better quality and better choices. DH loves the omlette station.:goodvibes

Character interaction? It depends on the types of characters you like. Personally, DH and I don't like the real people characters. For us, it's easier to be silly and forget they are real people when you can't see their faces. ;) So we like Chef Ms for the classic characters. :thumbsup2 Our DS did as well from what we could tell.

Atmosphere at both is quite different. They both get loud though but when Chef M's gets the party rolling it is quite loud. Which we don't mind AT ALL. It's part of the fun of that place.

That said, we never miss Chef Ms but DH requested 1900 PF for breakfast this time because he loves it, so it's Chef Ms for dinner instead. We've found lots of the restaurants on property tend to be very similar for breakfast. In general. Lots of eggs, bacon and orange juice. Both are great choices.

We have done both and 1900 Park Faire is something we now do every trip - Chef Mickey's only once.

The interaction at 1900 Park Faire is great - Mad Hatter is hilarious and the other characters are lots of fun. We never feel rushed there and the buffet is definitely the best on property for breakfast. Chef Mickey's we felt rushed and the food wasn't any different than any where else. 1900 Park Faire has the fabulous omlette station as well as all the other goodies.

The neat thing about 1900 Park Faire is that you see unusual characters - Mad Hatter, Alice, Mary Poppins - that you don't see everywhere else. I love Mickey but you can see him in the parks also.

We prefer CM for dinner. Did the breakfast once and it was ok food, but dinner's great! We're trying 1900 PF for breakfast this coming trip! I've heard great things and am very excited! (We did Cape May bf last trip and loved it too!)

We just did both on our last trip and just got back Monday. They were both very good actually. I would definitely do both again. I may have to give the edge to 1900 PF for their service and the omelets were fantastic. Character interaction was better there as well. Food wise, they were both very good. They are both must do's on our trips.

Now the dinner at 1900 PF is another story...

We did both and enjoyed both. I say do whichever characters you like better. If I had to choose, I would do Chef Mickey's.
