It looks like they are both Princess dining meals so I'm debating btwn. Akershus for lunch or 1900 Park Fare for dinner. Has anybody been to both and can compare? Or even if you have only been to one can you give me your feedback? Thanks!

My family went to both during the week of Sept 8-13.

We enjoyed 1900 PF. My dd4 loved dancing with Prince Charming. Plus, you had a greater selection of food. The stepmom and sisters were hilarious. The only princess there is Cinderella.

My dh ate the Pork at PSB and he said it was good. dd4 had pizza but didn't eat it because she ate a huge amount of cheese and turkey off the cold bar. I had the Kjottake (sp?) and I did NOT like it. I ate off the cold bar because the cold salads were much better. Getting the photo package was very nice and seeing the princesses which should be about 4 of them. (Ariel, Mulan, Jasmine, Belle, Snow White, or Mary Poppins and Alice which we do not consider a princess. Some have seen Cinderella but we never have.)

Depends on if you are picky. If you are adventurous then go for PSB. IMHO, I would go for breakfast.

We just went to PSB dinner last week, and we really enjoyed it. I thought the food was very good. I had the meatloaf type meal (the same thing that the PP tried to spell- I'm not even going to attempt it! ) and I really liked it. DH had the lamb stew and enjoyed it as well. I thought the cold bar was also very good, I could have made a meal out of it! The desserts were the chocolate cake, rice cream and school bread- all VERY yummy!

We had Belle as our greeter, then saw Ariel, Aurora, Cinderella and Jasmine. All were very sweet to this "grown up princess!" :cutie:

So I'm sure everyone's going to have their own opinion- I hope you thoroughly enjoy whichever you choose!!!

Just a caution. We took my 3 and 6 year old nieces to both 1900 Park Fare (dinner) and PSD last November. They LOVED the princesses at Akershus. They also liked Cinderella and the Prince at 1900 Park Fare. The 6 year old tolerated the stepsisters and the wicked stepmother, but the 3 year old was totally freaked out by them. She was actually sitting on my lap shaking with fear when they came near our table. We are going back next month and neither one wants to repeat 1900 Park Fare for dinner. And yes, we are going back to Akershus.

Personally, I liked the food much better at 1900 Park Fare.

We did both for dinner in June. We found 1900 PF to be very noisy and the food was just o.k.. We liked Akershus much, much better. They bring most of the food to you, and it was very good. Our princesses there were Belle, Cinderella, Aurora, Ariel and Jasmine. The included photo package was a nice plus too! :)

They're both good, so I'm not really disagreeing with anyone. However, we did both in May and while there are obviously more princesses at Akershus, we thought the all-around experience was better at 1900 PF. The food was very good by Disney buffet standards and the characters were a lot of fun. It was also more like a show.

We did enjoy Akershus and we'd do it again, so I'm not really putting it down, but the atmosphere was a little hectic whereas 1900 PF was more fun and relaxed. DISCLAIMER: I readily admit that the fun and relaxation at 1900 PF might have something to do with the alcoholic beverages I was drinking.

Here are some pictures from both:

We have been to both. Loved Akershus for the princesses and will be returning again next year but to try breakfast next time. 1900 PF was hilarious not particularly princessy unless you want to see Cinderella and not much worried about any others but the food was awful - the worst meal we have ever eaten - not just at Walt Disney World but anywhere ever!!

Thanks for all the input thus far. It looks like I might have a hard time getting into either :( I called reservations this morning and out of 12 dates for TS restaurants I wanted, I got 1! I'm going to keep trying though :)

Hello....went in May for lunch....Akershus food is OK, but it is different....I didn't like it that much......however, the princesses were awesome!!!! Really nice....DD3 princess: LOOOOOOVED it!!! We are going back next week and I have Akershus booked for dinner, because I couldn't get 1900 Park Faire or CRT, been trying for weeks!!!!.....called today and got 1900 Park Faire for dinner YAY:wizard: .....:cool1: :cool1: :cool1:
Keep trying to get your reservations....people do cancel.....good luck! :flower3:

My DD(6) loves both but Ithink the food is better at 1900 Park Fare. Akershus has great princesses though. She loves seeing them all in one place. At 1900 Park Fare they have Cinderella at dinner but Alice at breakfast. So I would pick based on who you want to see, both worth the visit if you have a princess loving DD like mine. princess:

I think it would depend on who you want to see. If you have a Cinderella fan in your group, 1900 may be the way to go. If you want to see several different princesses, go with Akershus. We enjoyed Akershus for breakfast and are going back.

Well I still can't decide, so when I called to try to get ADRs again yesterday I was able to book 1900 PF for dinner and Akershus for lunch so I took them. I might even keep both since they sound like two totally different experiences :)

Agreed...we've done both and they are two totally different experiences. If possible, keep both - you should enjoy them equally, but differently ;)

Glad you were able to get both!:thumbsup2 They are two totally different experiences, so you won't feel like you are repeating something.

Have a wonderful trip!:goodvibes

can anyone tell me what the picturepackage is at PSB -is it the same as CRT & which princess??
