1900 Park Fare/GF Cafe Question

We just got back yesterday and still "high" on the Disney magic...we did eat here on Wednesday 7/18 for dinner.

Was your ADR for 1900 Park Fare or Grand Floridian Cafe? Just checking a detail, thanks.

another question, do they allow seconds or is it what you get is all you get?

The Server who posted the updated menu indicated it is all you care to eat, so seconds are allowed just ask. She did say she had not served any seconds though!

Since you are all talking about 1900 Park, I was wondering, besides @ 1900 , Norway, and CRT are there any other CM with Princess's ? 1900 was wonderful, just wonderful the last time we were there, and would like to do 2 Princess meals, and don't want to use 2 TS on CRT and we hated the food at the Norway meal. Any suggestions?? We might just go for lunch @ 1900 the first day we are there and dinner on the 9th (last ) day. Suggestions???

Those are the only three princess meals... Akershus, 1900 PF, and CRT. 1900 PF serves only breakfast and dinner, not lunch. Cinderella is only there for dinner.

Okay, that's not what I had hoped to hear. Guess I will have to come up with "Plan B".

One more question, for breakfast, are there other charcaters, you said Cinderella is only dinner and wanted to claifiy if they have any at breakfast.

I think breakfast is usually Alice in Wonderland, the Mad Hatter and Mary Poppins. There used to also be Eeyore and Pooh, I think, but I'm not sure if they are still there or not.

It's back in the 1900 PF room now, the refurb has been completed early.

Yes! It reopened yesterday or the day before, I can't remember which. There was a change of characters though, if it matters to you. They've taken away the Fairy Godmother and the mice and replaced them with the stepmother and two stepsisters. My DD isn't crazy over the change, but she still wants to eat there. We met "the steps" at the P&P Party in January and they were kind of fun.

ON another thread it was stated by someone that they called this morning and their reservation in a few days for GF Cafe as dinner DID NOT transfer over to the 1900 park fare and they had to have a manager fix it this morning. I would call and confirm since you are leaving so soon. Good luck!

I just called to make sure my reservation moved back. Well....


The CM i spoke to told me because it was still on a "trial run" they decided on a daily basis. So far, she said, they all have been moved over, but she would not confirm mine will. . . . . .

I think there's no way they won't move them over. Can you imagine the nightmare? When hundreds of people show up for dinner with Cinderella only to be told sorry? Besides, they don't seem to have opened up tons of 1900 PF ADRs. Some people have been lucky and gotten one in the past few days, but some have been told it's booked solid for their date also. It couldn't possibly be booked solid if they weren't transferring the 'old' ADRs over. Right?

It states on another site that it is now, cinderella, Prince Charming, Lady Tremaine and 2 step sisters.

As long as my dd gets to meet cinders that ok with me! Glad its back to the original location as well.

Is the renovated 1900 bigger than before and all newly designed? The setup was a bit tight before I thought. We've never made ADR before, every time we've gone we just get there earlier and put our name in, never been turned away before....is it busier now than it used to, to where we need to book ahead? Only 2 of us, be down there Oct 8-around the 15th/16th.

I called as well, and after checking with her supervisor, and the restaurant, the CM informed me that the concesus is for us to go straight to 1900 Park Fare for our reservations on Friday. I guess we'll see when we get there.

I called this morning for my ressies on 9/28 and was told to show up at the 1900 Park Fare and if I would of showed up the GFC I would be sent over to the 1900!
