Did you like it?
Would a boy be OK here?
What kind of food did they serve and was it good?

Thanks in advance!:chat:

We were there in April - me, DW, DDs 3 and 5. We had a great time. The food was good - it is a self-serve buffet with many choices including scambled eggs, pancakes, waffles, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy, various pastries, etc plus a chef that will cook made to order omelettes. Excellent choice for even the pickiest eaters. We saw many families with boys and everyone seemed to be having a good time. Characters included Alice, Mad Hatter, Pooh, and Mary Poppins. I think you will have a great time. Try to spend a little time before or after exploring the Grand Floridian. Have fun!!

In all honesty, even the princesses like this character breakfast better than the castle. For a boy, it will be fine. We've always had Pluto, in addition to Mary Poppins and Alice in Wonderland. The Mad Hatter was there once, too. Service and food quality are superior here! We skipped it last trip, in order to give Chef Mickey's another try. The whole family agreed 1900 Park Fare is now a "MUST" for us!

I should also mention getting to and from the GF has always been a breeze!

We have been to many of the character meals and this breakfast is by far, the best food quality and choices! We ate there New Year's Day 2003 and our son was 12. I thought he was "too old" for the characters, but he was totally charmed by Belle(I think she was a fill in for Alice-maybe too much NYE). She even got him to take a picture with her. Pooh, Tigger Madd Hatter and Mary Poppins rounded out the troop. Food is wonderful, with great omelette bar. Great way to start the day!

Absolutely a boy will enjoy this breakfast. One menu item that wasn't mentioned by the previous poster that is a must have is the strawberry soup. It isn't always on the menu and even when it is once they are out they are out but this breakfast is a "must do" for the soup!!! ok thats not the only reason but its a big plus!

I'll be going there for my 20th birthday! Can't wait to try it!! :) Then I'll be trying the GF's Afternoon Tea that day too, as well as my first tour, Keys to the Kingdom! :)

This was my DD's request for her birthday breakfast - she's only 5, but remembered the decor and what she ate, as well as the characters that were there last time we went! It's a lovely restaurant and the food is terrific, esp. the made-to-order omelettes and the bread pudding!

My ds loved this breakfast. He still thinks the Mad Hatter is the funniest thing he's ever seen. We have PS there in July. My son still talks about our breakfast there last year. Also the food was very good and the girls loved Mary Poppins.

I'm so glad to hear all the positive reviews! I decided to book this (this morning!) for August 24 instead of doing Crystal Palace yet again!

We're staying at Cont so I thought it would be easy enough to get to once we're settled at the Cont!

OK lone dissenter here. We had poor character interaction in April, perhaps because we ate near the end of breakfast hours. While the strawberry soup was excellent, I still prefer the buffet at Crystal Palace.

We think this is probably the best character breakfast there is. One thing not mentioned in the list of food is there is a really lavish and nice assortment of fresh fruit. We had first ps available and had to wait for the doors to the restaurant to be opened. We had wonderful character interaction and the whole restaurant sang happy birthday to my dh. We also had an extra character -- Aladdin, which our server said didn't usually happen. It was a Sunday -- don't know if that mattered. Characters were Mary Poppins in the lobby, Alice, Pooh, Tigger, Mad Hatter and Aladdin! We got on the monorail and got to MK right at opening and the same Mad Hatter and Aladdin were there for opening. That obviously would have created a time when character interaction might have been down at the restaurant.

Thank you everyone for your wonderful reviews! Looks like 1900 Park Fare is a winner! I will make our ressies as soon as the 90 day marker rolls around!
