We have ADRs for our first breakfast at Park Fare shortly:cool1: . I have been there for dinner on 4th of July but never breakfast. Had hoped for Chef Mickey's but no availability. Please share your experiences and photos would be awesome too:thumbsup2 !!

We love this place for breakfast (we have eaten at all the breakfast buffets at WDW and think the food wuality here is the best)and have had xmas morning late breakfast there 3 years in a row(we don't go to a park on xmas day). Love the make your omelette station and last year they had yummy lobster eggs benedict! Lot's of choices for hot food (eggs, meats, potatoes mickey waffles, biscuits,) carved ham, cereal, fruit, yogurts and alot more. Characters are Alice, Mad Hatter, Tigger, Pooh, and Mary Poppins(who is usually in the waiting area, but last year came to the tables).

Good food. Love the Strawberry soup. Great character interaction.

Wow ! Sounds great ! I Don't feel quite so disappointed about not getting Chef Mickey's (which we did last year). We are taking my parents for the first time that are more interested in food quality than character but love buffets. This sounds like a good location, right?

1900 Park Faire is a must do for us on every trip. We really enjoy the breakfast as there is a decent variety and it's normally still warm. The characters there are always so much fun. Currently they have Alice and the Mad Hatter as well as Mary Poppins. Sometimes you will see Pooh or Tigger as well.

You will enjoy it!

We are going for dinner my BF said its great and the stepsister are a riot! I am hoping its a good one too!!!

I highly recommend it. We went this summer and had a blast! The Mad Hatter is hilarious! All of the adults were in stitches. The kids didn't get him at all, but that is partly what made it so funny. My nieces totally loved Alice in Wonderland, Pooh, and Mary Poppins so there was a character for everyone. There was a good variety of food with omelets, mini Mickey waffles, yummy strawberry soup, etc. We loved it so much that we are going back on Christmas morning.

Connears, did you have any problems getting to the GF on Christmas? We are coming from off-property and were wondering if traffic would be hard to deal with getting into the MK area. Maybe we will see you there! :santa:

I try to do this breakfast once each trip. I am going there my last day that I am leaving to come home, I figure that will be a nice breakfast, I chose that over Bomas, I have never tried Bomas but at least I do know I really like 1900 Park Fare

Thanks for the input, keep it coming ! Now I am much happier about going to PF over CM ! Any photos ??

Also, I realize it is a bit off topic but....we will have to drive from AKL to Park Fare (Father's wife recovering from broken back and surgery so it is too much trouble to use WDW transportation resort to resort) and was wondering if we would have a problem (or missing van) if we hopped over to MK after breakfast for 3-4 hours?? It seems crazy to drive from GF back to AKL to go back to MK !! It would be the Sunday after Thanksgiving.

When DH and I went it was in Dec, our last day there so I made a late ressie, around 10:30 am.

We arrived to total chaos and the noise level was deafening. The food was terrible because it was sitting out for a while so it was dried up and pretty gross. The bread pudding was fresh and amazing and the strawberry soup was to die for. We were seated between two huge tables and squished by a kitchen door so it was very difficult for the characters to get to us so they just waved and moved on.

I would try it again but go right when they open but DH is very hesitant because of the noise level.

i hate buffets but when i do go I go right at the first reservation, food is fresh and it isnt wild. I am surprised that you found it loud, out of all the buffets that i have gone to it is one of the quietest ones in DW. Try it again, I bet you will not be dissapointed , go the first :) reservation

We had breakfast there on 11/14th. Loved it. The food was good and they had a good variety. Even had an omelet bar where someone made them up fresh for you. Was really great. We were there when it first opened at 8:00 am, and the food was fresh. We were there when it opened - 8:00 am - and didn't have any problem with noise levels or food quality.

From what I understand if you drive/park at GF, you are given a pass to park for 3 hours. So depending on how long your breakfast takes - you may have some time at MK if you wanted, but it would be 3 - 4 hours like you were hoping.

Not much I can add except another :thumbsup2 . We've been to just about all the breakfast buffets and 1900 Park Fare is our favorite. Mad Hatter is a hoot, the variety of food is great and it's always been very good for us. The GF is a lovely resort to walk around. You'll have a great time.

1900 Park Fare is a must do for us everytrip. Great food selection and fun character interaction. We like both breakfast and dinner.

Have a great time!

1900 Park Fare is my second favorite breakfast just behind the Princess Storybook breakfast in Norway. The strawberry soup is great! The noise level was not bad when we went. We found Crystal Palace and Chef Mickey's to be much louder.

I also liked the food layout better than at Crystal Palace and Chef Mickey's, but be sure to wander around and see everything that is there as I seem to recall missing a station when I first went through :)

We thought it was very good. I liked it a lot better for breakfast than I did for dinner.

That is exactly what we did last July at Chef Mickey's. We did not realize until we were walking out that we missed all the pastry, breads, and cereals !! We wanted to start all over again !! Or at least grab a donut for the road but we were so stuffed we could barely move !!

Are both sides of the buffet the same at PF like at CM ?

I have eaten at a bunch of Disney breakfast buffets, including Chef Mickey's, Cape May Cafe, Boma, and Princess Storybook Breakfast in Norway. 1900 Park Fare is my favorite for the food and atmosphere. The characters are also nice!

When we ate there in August, we were late to our reservation because of the monorail having some unscheduled maintenance. We had an 11:10 reservation, which is the last seating and didn't show up until probably 11:20-11:25. They still sat us AND even when we wound up being the last party there eating, kept the buffet stocked for us, which was really nice. It was a good experience.

I like 1900 PF way better than CM!!

I would pick it over CM in a heartbeat.:cool1: :cool1:

Thanks so much for such great feedback ! I am so glad we are going there now ! :woohoo:
