1900 Park Fare, breakfast any good?

We had breakfast there in April. Thought the food (selection and quantity) was on par with Crystal Palace, but not as good as Tusker House. Character interaction was good. We'd go back, especially if staying at one of the monorail resorts.

Awesome IMO. Definitely my favorite breakfast at Disney World.

Lobster Benedict, strawberry soup, omelettes cooked to order. :cloud9: Plus Tigger, the Mad Hatter, Mary Poppins, Alice and Pooh. How can you go wrong?

Food is better than most breakfast buffets in Disney. Cost is better than some. Character interaction among the best in the World's restaurants. "Worth the money?" is a subjective question--what is worthwhile for some isn't for others. That being said, we eat there every other trip or so and have enjoyed it each time.

1900 PF breakfast is the one ADR I can't find for our trip in a few weeks. I keep trying though.

I completely agree. "Worth" is totally subjective, especially when you are asking about cost

We went for the characters. The food in most places that have charcters isn't better than ok.

We thought the food was very good but the character interaction was phenomenal! We had do much fun, especially with the Mad Hatter

I'm on the fence..too... I'm thinking bout just a table service cause I luv the resort..hmmm.. decisions decisions

Meh. The food is certainly at its best in the morning (not good in the evening).

Food was good....not outstanding and definitely not one of my faves....I like Crystal Palace, Cape May, and Tusker better. As for character interaction....honestly, nothing special. The highlight was Mad Hatter.

FYI, we were there two weeks ago and they did not have lobster benedict just the regular eggs benedict. That being said, the food was fine but you are paying for the characters so the food itself is not worth the money. So, if you want to see those characters then of course it will be worth it for you. However, I was a bit disappointed with the lack of interaction just a photo, autograph a small bit of chit chat and on to the next family. It was not overcrowded nor did I feel rushed but the encounters were just flat. If you have little ones maybe that would be enough. Mad Hatter could have been awesome but he was a complete dud. In contrast, last year at dinner the step sisters and step mother were a hoot.

I agree with you about the characters. I did not care for the interaction at all. I said mad hatter was the highlight because he was the most entertaining out of all of the characters there. But for a "mad hatter" character, the interaction was not what I expected. It was definitely lacking. If you're dying to see the characters then sure, it might be worth it to you. But I personally dont think its worth the money. Food was decent but again, nothing special at all. I don't think I'd ever go back.

are the dinners all booked up? the dinner is amazing with Cinderella, the Prince, Stepmother, and Stepsisters.
The step sisters are HILARIOUS! They're so entertaining....too bad the food sucked. But I'd go just to see them in action again. Totally worth it!

DD and I ate there our last morning this past March. we have eaten there many times in the past and enjoyed it. We did not enjoy it this past time. The food was blah and the service was just plain bad. We never got any refills for drinks or plates cleared and had to interrupt our server's chatting with another server to finally get our check. The characters however were wonderful. So I would say go for the characters - Mad Hatter was Awesome! - but don't go for the food or service. My DD is a 24 year old Disney fanatic who never thinks Disney can go wrong and she even said it was very disappointing.

We had breakfast there at the end of August and it was one of our favourite meals from the entire trip! The food was great with a decent variety (lots of the usual Disney breakfast buffet items but also red velvet pancakes w/ cream cheese frosting, bread pudding, French toast, omelettes and strawberry soup). We thought the character interaction was really good too - the Mad Hatter the day we were there wasn't as enthusiastic as the one we'd had on a previous trip but still lots of fun. It's very much worth it to me and has become a must-do for future trips!

We love meals at 1900 Park Fare. We thought the food was great at both breakfast and supper. Lots of selection. The character interaction at supper is far superior - the Tremaine family is one of the best interactions at Disney as far as I am concerned. I travelled with DD10 and DD5 last year. It is one of their must do meals now 3 years in a row. We all eat the strawberry soup. The omelettes and eggs benedict are very good too.

We usually prefer dinner at 1900 Park Fare, but we've done breakfast a few times. My daughter loved the Mad Hatter and Marry Poppins. They had great mickey waffles.
