1900 Park Faire

We went to dinner at the 1900 Park Faire and while we loved the character interaction, we were less than pleased with the food. We are considering going for breakfast this time and would love to hear any feedback on their breakfast. Thanks!

Never been to 1900 PF for dinner but did breakfast one time end of Oct. 2009. I thought the breakfast was very good. The standard breakfast fare (bacon, eggs, etc.) was well prepared. I really liked the lobster eggs benedict and the strawberry soup (Mary Poppin's favorite). There were a lot of different choices, but obviously I can only eat so much! I remember smoked salmon, lots of cooked to order eggs/omelettes, etc..

Characters were great, lots of interaction at the table, no rush. Mary Poppins (do sing Supercalifragilistic with her), Alice in Wonderland, Mad Hatter, Tigger and Pooh. The Mad Hatter was very hilarious (and loud!)

I'd skip the $32 photo they take when you enter. One side is you with a fake castle background (it's on the wall) and the other side is just a picture of the Grand Floridian. Instead, walk right outside there... and you will see a large bush in the shape of Mary Poppins holding her umbrella. Get someone to snap a photo of your family there. Another photo opportunity is the center of the Grand Floridian lobby - there is a giant sized floral arrangement.

I've always found the breakfast food to be fresh and tasty. The character interaction has always been great as well - esp between Alice and the Mad Hatter. It's become one of our favorites.

I did breakfast and dinner there on the same trip. I agree with you about dinner, it was pretty gross! Breakfast was OK though, I find most of their character breakfasts have really similar food, so if you've like other ones then you'll like this one. I'd go back for breakfast, not dinner!
