My DD3 started to really get into Alice in Wonderland a few weeks before our trip, so I made a last-minute addition to our ADRs to add 1900 Park Faire for a late breakfast on our last day.
When we arrived, we had to wait briefly in the lobby outside the restaraunt and my DD decided to throw a nice little temper tantrum. She was inconsolable. Next thing ya know, the Mad Hatter comes running through the little lobby, screaming and failing his arms about, then right back into the restaraunt. My daughter was shocked into submission!
Once we were seated, my whole family went to the buffet while I stayed back to talk to the server. The Mad Hatter sat down and chatted me up, then asked the names of my kids. He then YELLED their names across the restaraunt to get their attention. Everyone turned around to look.
Alice was super-sweet to my daughter, who was suddenly shy when faced with the "real" Alice. Alice picked up on this and was super-super sweet to her. She kept stopping back, sitting with my daughter, who was just in heaven.
That night we watched the late showing of Spectro, and along came the float with Alice. I don't know if it was the same Alice or not, but I swear she leaned down when she came past us and blew a kiss to my daughter.
Alice and the Mad Hatter made our last day of Disney an absolutely perfect end to a perfect trip.
