I have both reserved, but I need to choose one. Difficult decision. What is the better meal with the better characters?

We LOVE both!! We have both booked for july! The food is awesome! Character interaction was the best at both! I prefer dinner (food wise ) my DH prefers breakfast (He loves breakfast) Good luck!!!:goodvibes

We have never done breakfast there but we just got back from having done 1900 Park Fare for dinner. We loved it! My girls (4/8) who are not the get up and do the "parade" type things at the character meals absolutely had a blast here. The characters were wonderful! They really spent a lot of time with my girls, despite how shy they are. So much fun. The food was rather good as well. Decent variety. I am very picky, but found plenty to enjoy.

This has been put on our must do list for future trips. We were the 3rd of 4th table the characters would visit after they entered the room, so we finished with them very early on in the meal, but wound up staying around and watching them with other people. One great moment of the evening was when one of the Step Sisters introduced a couple who had been married for over 60 years. She spent a great deal of time with them, as did the other characters who visited their table after.

For off park site breakfasts, we love Ohana. All the other character breakfasts we do are in the parks (H&V, CP, CRT, Akershus, Tusker House)

Have an awesome trip. Wish we were still there!

Both have pretty good character interaction. Alice and the Mad Hatter (breakfast) are a lot of fun, as are the sisters (dinner). Therefor, based purely on which food we liked better, we would go with breakfast. We don't really like the food at dinner buffets (with the exception of Boma and Biergarten). We find the food to be either greasy, fatty and/or cold (when it should be warm).

Breakfasts, on the other hand, are pretty standard no matter where you go. They all have eggs, bacon, sausage potatos and waffles. The each (meaning all breakfast buffets) have a few dishes that are restaurant specific, but for the most part its all pretty much the same. You can't really mess it up, IMO. :thumbsup2

I've tried the 1900 PF dinner.....the characters were a RIOT and sooo much fun!!! However, the food was disappointing. Just awful. Awful selection of food....maybe they were short of food that night? Lol. There were only 3 items or so that I liked. I even thought the kids selection was terrible. Im going to try the breakfast for the first time this Aug. Even thou i havent been to the breakfast, i'd recommend that over the dinner. Lol! :lmao:

We do both breakfast & dinner on our visits. If I had to choose just one of the two, it would be dinner. We have found the food fine at both meals, but the character interaction (for us) tends to be more fun & involved with the Tremaines. My DDs love Alice in Wonderland, however they really look forward to seeing what Anastacia & Drizella are up to each year.

Neither, the food is pretty gross at both meals. The character interaction at dinner is fantastic though

We did both & I don't recall anything outstanding about either meal foodwise. We prefered dinner for character interaction. DD danced with Prince Charming, Cinderella, & Anastasia. We were seated in the main dining room near the buffet. If you are not seated in that section, it might be more difficult to dance with the characters, but they will come to every table for pictures & autographs.

For breakfast we were seated in the main dining room, but on the back wall in the corner. Character interaction was still fine, just a longer walk to the buffet!

We've done breakfast and really liked it. At breakfast, Pooh, Alice, Tigger, Mad Hatter and Mary Poppins were there. At dinner, I believe it's a lot of the Disney princesses, so that might make a difference as to what meal you choose.

cinderella's step mother and stepsisters are at dinner and are very funny!!...

as of mays trip weve done both...and while i will always stay loyal to winnie- hes my other man- i have to say dinner is hilarious! weve done it twice now, the first time elebrating our 10th anny and the kids wer 4 and 2 and didnt really get into it....this trip, ds got engaged to drizella and she danced him across the restaurant and planted a big fat kiss on his forehead....dd will be their maid. it was by far one of the best interactions and meals weve had at any of the places at disney!
