I have never been to this restaurant or even heard of it until we were picking our ADR's. We choose without asking reviews (thank goodness we have till Sept.) Anyways, any opinions on the restaurant or recommendations? Any pictures of the food or of the restaurant itself?

We really enjoyed it although it's been a long time since we ate there. Not that we didn't want to go back, we just like to try a lot of new places.

We LOVE 1900 Park Fare! :) The food is delicious...gourmet salads and side dishes, salmon, turkey, beef, a fabulous dessert bar and a kids buffet too...we love all the buffets in Disney..to us 1900 Park Fare seems slightly fancier...maybe because Cinderella eats there too ;)

We ate there on Friday, and the kids liked it as much as ever, but we 4 adults thought the food was downsized. DH wanted some adult vegetables but didn't find any. There was broccoli and corn at the childrens station. There were lots of salads, I enjoyed tomato/mozarella and the cold seafood salad, but it did seem that there were things missing. I could have sworn there had been a mussel dish in the past. The cut beef was pretty good, my slice was at least, and they still had strawberry soup!

Cinderella and Prince Charming danced while Madame Tremaine was on the side scowling! It really was a great time.

Strawberry Soup and Eggs Benedict with Crab - YUMMO!

I loved it last September. Sadly, I'm joining my travel party this September a day to late to partake this year.

We ate breakfast there on Saturday. I thought it was very good and I will definitely go back. Of the 3 breakfasts we did last week (CRT, Chef Mickey's and 1900), I thought 1900 had the best selection and the best "cooked". I'm picky about how certain foods are prepared. I don't like my eggs runny and it seems that most places, scrambled eggs on a buffet are not done well enough for my taste. Neither is bacon. At 1900, the scrambled eggs were actually cooked all the way (not dry, but definitely not runny). The bacon was a thicker bacon and it was crisp. My favorite! Big selection of other items too....waffles, french toast, pancakes, sausage, pecan sticky buns, bagels, fresh fruit, yogurt, omlettes, cereal, etc.

I totally agree! It's the same basic breakfast food as everywhere else, but it just seemed a little better quality & prepared a little better, too.

Sounds yummy...

So if am hearing correct it is a buffet? With Characters?
Yep. It's a Buffet. In the morning it's Mary Poppins and other characters. In the evening it's Cinderella, Prince Charming, the Stepmother, and Stepsisters and the Fairy Godmother.

Yes, dinner has Cinderella, Prince Charming, Lady Tremaine and the step sisters. It was quite fun. My DD's loved Cinderella, but the adults in our party even found Lady Tremaine and the stepsisters quite humorous! Not sure about breakfast but it is characters too.

Haven't ate there in a couple of years but it was good :)

Our family has been there both for breakfast and dinner. We liked dinner better. The food was great!!! The charactes are great too.

Can anyone comment on the breakfast?

Yes it was terrible. The only thing we like and found to be fresh was the strawberry soup and the bread pudding. The breads and pastries were super dry, the meats greasy and overcooked, the fruits tasted like refrigeration and there was one egg station opened with a huge line that stretched forever.

We were just 2 adults and were seated at this tiny table crammed between all these big tables, the characters could not make it to us so they waved. The noise level was out of control, you cannot hear yourself think.

THis is one place that DH refuses to try again, even for dinner. We had ressies at 10ish so maybe that was the problem, maybe if we had gone at 8am it would have been completely different?
