1800 Flowers Work At Home Opportunity (Select States)

Today was so bad, my computer wouldn't load up citirix and so I was on with ts for an hour to discover that is was because I had IE7. My DH handles the computer things so I didn't know what version I had, I just figured I was ok since the computer check came back ok. I told them I've been able to get in all week and they said it will happen in the blink of an eye and not work, boy did I learn that today. Thankfully things are still going slow so I was caught back up with in 15 minutes.

Did you have to switch to IE6? I have IE7 but I am waaaay behind most of you because they did not get my paperwork til this Tuesday. I have no training or PC setup scheduled yet. anyway, just wanted to know if I should switch back to IE6 now. I hope not I really like IE7!!!


Oh one more question. Have they explained to anyone how the scheduling works. The person who interviewed me said I had to give the availability and would not change for 4 months. That's tough since my oldest will be in school and out for the summer and back in school during a 4 month period. It's tough to make an availability for that!

I have been usisng IE 7 the whole time, prob should switch back.

According to the ts who helped me, she said that sometimes IE7 works but there are glitches in it that can make it not work. The hard part is windows is trying to automatically update it now.
It was horrible to try to log on this morning and to have nothing.

When we set our schedule availability today we were told that it is in effect for 90 days and everytime we change our availability then it is in effect and can't be changed for another 90 days.

So... wouldn't it just figure that I am scheduled to start training in the middle of my big move (start training on Monday) moving this weekend! We closed on our house yesterday! (YAY!!!!

I am starting training on Monday - I have a question for those that have started already...when I log onto the web interface page it is telling me that citrix is not downloaded - even though I've already downloaded it and restarted my pc. I mentioned this to the trainer during the pc setup and she said not to worry about it and my pc setup went fine...is this something I should be worried about? I don't want to mess up my training. Thanks

Mine says that too sometimes when I'm using IE7, when I log into MSN and go from there it's fine. Either way though I still can use Citrix and don't have any issues.

Well I am done training! I graduated!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I also put in for some hours this weekend & next week - I figure they will be busy because of admin prof week. We'll see in 24 hrs if they were approved.

I also sent in my availability for my reg schedule. Scheduling/Training was a big mess but I did get to chat with a few DIS'ers

Hope everybody did well this week & the newcomers do great when they start Mon!

does anyone have an email address or a phone number i could have to call them. I did my interview over 2 wks ago and was told i would be mailed a packet to fill out the next day. Well I never got it and just gave up after making an attempt to call just 1800flowers. no luck with that.

Well anyway...this morning, a lady called me and I missed the call. She left a voicemail....and asked if I had any problems filling out the paperwork that was emailed to me. I NEVER RECEIVED ANY EMAIL! Her voicemail gave no phone # or contact info to reach her. She just said to contact the information in the packet if I had any problems. So frustrating because I never received that packet and have no way to contact them.

I was hoping maybe one of you could PM me a contact # or email since you have already been thru this.

PLEASE HELP ME.

They are a 24 hr operation. However, I believe they are done hiring for now.
