I will be at Disney World the week before Christmas so my 180 is coming up shortly. My issue is we will be on property for 8 nights but w 3 reservations, 1st night Poly, next 3 Contemo then 4 at Boardwalk.

Is there any way to merge the reservations so that I can book dining reservations 180 days from the 1st night?

We stayed last year Christmas we week w a similar split and needed dining to fix the issue, couldn't use the app.

Additionally when I called dining they said there was no way for them to over ride the system and help and that they would be breaking every disney rule if they could do it for me (making the reservations)

Unfortunately since it's 3 separate reservations, the 180+10 starts from arrival day on each reservation. If there's a loophole, I sure haven't found it. Rough on people who like to do split stays. You'd think there would be a way for the system to take that into account. :( Good luck to you!

I also have a 3 split stay. This morning was my 180 day for the first one. I was only able to book from check in to check out. =( I am going during the week of Thansgiving so I hope I can score some good reservations. I am very suprised most of the am reservations are already booked solid. You also can't book events either. I booked the Treasure Cruise but was unable to book it past my check out date. I didn't know about that issue at all!!
On the positive note..I got my dinner reservation for BOG!!! =))) If you want to go there I would book it first starting at the check out date. It booked within 2 mins this morning!! I was lucky to snag it!!

The folks on the phone lines use to be able to book the whole time for you, but they've closed that loophole.

Sorry but posters are right. For the first time ever we were refused the 10 day adr's. Really not fair since a room at Disney World should be the criteria. Capriciously unfair in my opinion.

Sorry, no, but really you've got time and hopefully you can get what you want after fastpasses open up and the scramble begins anew.

OK... So what if I wanted to be unscrupulous? Like book a 2nd reservation, then book my meals then cancel the Room reservation. Will the diner reservations still be there? I wouldnt do this except for Disney stupid new policy. It reall y isnt fair, staying on property is staying on property.

. . . Is there any way to merge the reservations so that I can book dining reservations 180 days from the 1st night? . . .

1) No.
2) This would be unfair to others with the same ressie dates of your later stay dates.
. . . you could take their preferred ADR's
3) I think you would feel cheated if someone took the desired ADR's for your first check-in.
4) Fair-is-Fair.
5) I do not see a problem with this policy.
6) The option, is to stay at the same resort under the same ressie - this would be fair to everyone.

1) Sure it is fair.
2) You get to make ressies for each stay, jut like others who check-in on those dates.
3) You could always stay at the same resort to get the ADR's, or move off-site if you feel this is unfair to you.

:cool1:

I'm sorry but can't others make reservations starting on check in day plus 10 days?
If yes then it's absolutely not fair! I am staying on property how come I don't get the 10+ days to book my ADRs?

Rusty I do not agree with you 100%, Basically your saying you you should get an advantage for only having 1 reservation.

I would not be taking someones else if I deserve a reservations.

steves100 - I agree 100% with you. I am staying at 3 deluxe resorts and yet I cannot book my ADRs for my entire stay!! That is beyond stupid! I am staying on property and I should get the same perks of staying on property as everyone else! It shouldn't matter where I stay and/ or if i change resorts!

It especially seems unfair that you can't do 180+10 with split stays when WDW didn't have resort availability for a single resort. :( Will make me think twice about a split stay in the future.

I agree with Rusty. I do think it is the policy being uniformly enforced and therefore is fair to the most folks. You can book ADR's + 10 for each individua reservation, just like anyone else. It is your decision to move and therefore have a new, additional reservation

So its fair that if you split your reservation you need to wait????

BTW It wasnt my idea to only spen the 1st night at the Polynesian, i was basically forced to.

Yes I think it is fair. You have the same 180 + 10 perk on each reservation as everyone else has on their checkin day.
You may have been "forced" to change resort since you are going at the busiest time of year and you did not plan, and book, far enough in advance to stay the whole vacation at the Poly.
We (myself and many who agree with me as stated here on this thread) will have to agree to disagree. I feel as strongly that it is fair to the greatest number of guests, as you feel that it is unfair.
Hope your vacation is great and you get all the ADR's you hope for.

Excuse me?? That is out of line! I booked my resorts 11 months in advance as soon as I could. The Beach Club was already booked up so I could only get 2 days. I choose to book 2 resorts because we are going for my kids birthday. They are twins...one wanted to stay a Bay Lake with the view of monorail and my daughter wanted the Beach Club. As a birthday present I booked both!
As far as picking 'The busiest time of year' they were born 3 months early and spent weeks on vents in NICU..believe me that was not my choice either. I am choosing to go on their birthday!
Last when I booked the resort stay I asked about being able to book all of my ADRs on my 180 day check in. I was told they could do it if I called. The rule was changed after I booked.
Sorry but I did plan and book way in advance. I also asked before I book and the rules were changed. i don't think it is fair at all. I simple want the same 180 + 10 as everyone else is getting. If they want to stop this then fine but let people know upfront!
